As of right now rank is meaningless. In fact it is almost more desirable to not rank up so that you have easier/more relaxed games. I often try to stay around purple ranks because red ranks are just not fun to play in. As was pointed out to me some kind of reward based on rank could promote undesirable/scummy play just to win. I almost wish there was a competitive and non competitive mode. What do you guys think would be a way to make ranking up something you actually want to do?
