How about Predator?
People have been talking about Aliens, and wanting them in the game. It was mentioned by a dev that they weren't sure if they would fit thematically, aliens in space and all that. To that I say:
What about Predator? All the movies take place on earth (for the most part) Why wouldn't the entity pluck one of the greatest hunters in the universe to hunt survivors? Predators have hunted humans in jungles and cities befor,e so it's not a streatch at all.
The best part of it all: they could program an animation for when all 4 survivors escape, he explodes. Just like the player is doing. And it would be an AWESOME reanimation of the EGC.

No. Please.
No Alien, no Predator.
The guys making the awful movies in the last years have already done a great job making those creatures and their lore a complete mockery of what they were in the beginning.
Please don't make them part of this cartoony chase circus.

But...mah Wraith...

Then surely... There's nothing to lose if the movies have disappointed recently.
Anything new and different is a great idea. Predator and Alien fit that gap. They got the rights to a terminator killer in deathgarden. Why not get it here?

Maybe they should focus on getting pure Terrestrial horror characters first. Pinhead, Pumpkinhead, Human-form Chucky, Candyman, The Nun, Samara, Carrie, maybe even fixing Freddy, you know...

Predator can see players auras, but they can temporary hide their auras by rolling in puddles of mud that spawn throughout the levels when predator is the killer. For one of his perks during the end game collapse he can go into "self destruct mode" where the end game timer is cut by 30/40/50% but predator is rendered immobile after it is initiated.

The sci-fi(-ish) feel of Predator would put me off. I don't think he would fit the game. And let's be honest, Predator movies are horribly bad (well, Scream movies too, so I guess it's not a big issue for BHVR). I like the pattern that most killers started their career as more or less regular rapists, murderers (occasionally murder victims), but not aliens, robots, interdimensional beings or whatever. Don't forget, a Xenomorph or a Predator has superhuman strength, tracking abilities, speed and so on. It would be ridiculous to watch them being looped for half an hour only because they can't quite deal with a wooden pallet.

You already know my answer from the other post discussing alien.
Also everyone saying it went happen because "sci-fi " thats irrelevant , look at ghostface his in the game.
Scream came out in 96 and Predator came out in 87 , if anything predator has seniority

I don't really see a Predator working much better than a Xenomorph, but part of me would want to see it only to see the Self-Destruct Device as a perk (although now that I think about it, the original idea I had for the perk is pretty much just the EGC).
