New Killer: The Shaman

As in the recent updates the Entity became more and more present and powerful, the idea of this new killer seems to fit amazingly in the time line.

THE SHAMAN

Appearence:

A big and strong, brown skinned elder male who is wearing a wolf fur and maybe some shrink heads on a bracelet. He is tattooed with Henna like paint. His weapon is a sacrifical dagger.

Backstory:

This fella came from an ancient tribe, which is praying to the Entitiy. They used to sacrifice animals and humans to it, to gain part of its power and make it calm. Maybe The Shaman managed it due to a ritual to enter the realm of the Entity and sacrificing even more victims to it.

Power:

SELECT VOLUNTEER

The Shaman can switch between normal mode and the Select mode. When in select mode The Shaman puts his weapon away and cannot make lunge attacks anymore. With bare hands the killer is able to grab survivors (even if they do not do actions or run) when being very close to them (a little less than normal attack range).

Grabbing does not hurt survivors but makes The Shaman dragging them behind him, being slower than usually. While dragging both the survivor and the killer need to make medium skill checks every 1 second. If the killer fails first, the survivor frees themself, stunning The Shaman for 2 seconds. If the survivor fails first or at ties, the drag continues until the survivor is hooked or the killer fails the skill checks.

PERKS:

Death Mark:

Your attacks mark survivors and prepares them for their undeniable destiny.

Survivors in the dying state crawl 50% slower and can only recover up to 90/80/70%.

Painful gazes:

The sacrificial ritual attracts many people and makes them watch this holy ritual.

When a survivor is on the hook, each survivor close to it (about 15 meter range maybe) increases the sacrifice progress speed by 6/8/10%. Dying survivors do not count.

Rageful Help:

You hate and fear modern technology at the same time.

Whenever you kick the generator, you call the Entity for help to block the generator for 10/15/20 seconds.

Stats:

This killer could be about as tall as the Trapper with a Terror Radius from about 24 to 32 meters. I would suggest not to change the Terror Radius between both modes.

Also should he walk at normal killer speed of 115%, as chases with his power would be too hard with less, making his power useless.

The survivor could be an explorer or scientist and i also have some ideas for it, but i think that rhe killer himself could be enough to make the game's story come to an end in a year or two.

Please share your thoughts and prayers :)

See you in the fog.

Death Mark could be too powerful in slugging builds imo. Default crawling speed is 0,7m/s (17,5% of the standard Survivor running speed), it would be reduced to 0,35m/s (8,75%), which is pretty big considering it also doesn't allow to recover to 95%. Rageful Help could be a nice perk to use, but 20 seconds is not that much time, provided it'd require a perk slot

First of all, thank you for the comment.

The speed reduction of Death Mark should be tested but I think 50% or sth around that could be a good start.

Rageful Help is especially useful when only 1 gen is left to repair, making it very hard for suvirvors to do that, if you just patroll the gens imo. So i think 20 seconds could be too long but should also be tested. Maybe you can adjust that value to the amount of generators left. So it would be longer blocked at the start and shorter in the end.
