Refunding Bloodpoints!
So my Idea is:for Example you have a Charracter lv 40 and there would be a way to set the charr back of how you want but you receive your Bloodpoints back or 50-80%?
@Patricia
Would work like a Refund System

But you’d still have the teachable perks? This’d be abused.

But when you reach level 50, the bloodpoints are wondrously and generously dumped on your clothes. You don't like that!?
1 -
Well thats correct. hmmm
well only works when you reeached p1?
or maybe only works when you unlocked all teachable's something like that or only 50% Bloodpoints back.

Ofc but i accidentally lvld someone which i didnt wanted to.
1 -
why would you want that though?
why would i want to reset a character?
if you dont want to play them, you shouldnt have leveled them in the first place...
1 -
Why? My only question. For what reason would this ever be a good idea.
0 -
Levelling any char to 40 doesnt take much time, it the smallest part of the grind getting teachablrs unlocked so I don't see a need for this tbh.
1 -
Read my Comments, than you know it?
Ever heard about accidentally?

It was just a Suggestion. Nobody said, that this Idea would be great.

but how can you "accidentally" level a character 50 times in a row???
you literally have to click on their picture and level the bloodweb, with the character constantly standing right next to it, watching you! how can that happen??? xD
3 -
+1 to this. An accidental level 40 character doesn't happen.
1 -
I suppose someone could think they are levelling someone for a teachable only to find out after the teachables have been revealed it wasnt them.
Still a bit of a ######### mistake to make lol.

Who tf said i accidentally leveld a Charracter 50 Times? Tell me where is this Sentence? I accidentally leveld someone 5 Times.

Well then you can earn those back in 2 to 4 games, what's the issue?
1 -
Keep baiting. I have already all teachable's unlocked.

with such a low number, you should have the BP you spent back within a game, maybe two.
no need to implement such a mechanic.
besides, since you are going to level multiple characters up the longer you play, this may help you in the future?
and the "50" was just a random, high, number, as A: low numbers like 5 dont really matter, since you had to spend like no BPs at all and B: its the number needed to max out a character and prestige them.

Who tf said i have a Issue? I just wanted to share my opinion.
1 -
Don't know how pointing out the obvious is bait but oh well.

The thing is:
You still keep talking teenagerlike with things your imagine (that maybe happened to you) some nonsense, that no one even mentioned or say'd it.
In Short:
Your Trashtalker
Thats bait. So keep trolling on Forum's, nobody cares.

I like the idea, in the early days of playing I leveled up characters that I don't ever use and would happily reset them to 0 and lose the teachables if it meant I cpuld have the bloodpoints back.
Best reason would be when they release a new character that you want to level up fast. You could essentially trade levels.

Not sure why so many people are against this. It doesn't affect anyone at all and is a nice option to consider.
It seems the Dbd community just loves to disagree for the sack of disagreeing sometimes.

Thanks for that.

If the return is 100% then essentially you have to level only one killer and survivor to max, just refund before every game to switch and level up (yes this impractical because it takes forever)
If the return is less than 100% then people will use it when a new character comes out, realize that they suck with the new character and then cry on the forums because they lost bloodpoints
You also essentially increase the grind by 100% - actual refund value
It's an unnecessary system that has almost no positives
1 -
True in some respects but the loss you would need to consider are the teachables.
There are some survivors & killers I would happily reset to rank 1 and wouldn't mind losing the perks whereas others I wouldn't dream of resetting.

That's right.
Ofc not 100% back.
i thinking of like only 40-50% back and ONLY on 1 prestige lvl.
So when you for example prestige your Claudette to 1 and you lvl her than to 10, you can only refund the 10 lvls. Not back to prestige 0. So when you hit a Prestige, the Bloodpoints from 1 to 50 cannot be refunded. Im even thinking of only 49 so when you hit 50 no refund, because on 50 you can invest more Bloodpoints. It would just than be a Lack in the System, that causes more Bugs.
Well i think that would be postive.

Rather than refunding characters, why not just let me burn items/add-ons/offerings? Even if the conversion rate is trash, say 20%, it would still ease the grinding for those of us that don't want 12 jigsaw pieces on our survivors. The only issue is that it would mean you could just burn everything on a character to get prestige/teachables easier, but I don't think that should really be an issue as the number of character to get to level 40/50 keeps growing and the game isn't changing to accomodate the grind.

Really? I first said I don't say the need for it, so that's not agreeing with your idea.
Secondly when you said you only levelled up to 5 I then said that's 2-4 games so what the issue again that's not agreeing with you idea.
You replied saying that was bait and I replied I was just saying the obvious.
You then reply with soft insults so tell me out all of that who acted childish?
If someone doesn't agree with your idea and counters it with valid points as to why it's never bait, ignoring it and seeing it as such says a lot about yourself though.

Refunding addons for 1/4 BP would be a great idea
0 -
Right? But if it had to be just addons or just offerings, I'd choose offerings in a heartbeat because Why oh why would i ever decide "Let's go to Autohaven"? I see no advantage to that decision, and people who do are in a category well above mine for map knowledge

What would be the sense for only refunding Add-ons and Offrings? It would just causes more Bugs and a Lack on the Bloodweb System. And what is about grind? You have to INVEST first the Bloodpoints and you receive them only 50% back? That would be a Loss.
