It is the best way to deal with Ruin other than looking for and hoping you find the hex totem unguarded.
Just: [ hold down your Left Mouse Botton for half a second and release it ]
Solo: [ Mantener presionado por medio segundo y luego soltar ]
usually gives about 15 to 20 BP per 'tap'.
What this does is it allows you to repair the generator without triggering Ruin skill checks. Though it takes MUCH longer, it is far safer than relying on the Killers ultra laggy lobby for skill checks.

That’s a lie do what I do and just hit the great skillchecks it’s not hard lol may take some practice

Starting & stopping repairs. Hoping you don't get a skill/ ruin check.

Hope this helps. :)

But let’s say everyone learns to hit the
great skillchecks ruin would lose its power.

There's always one.
Hooray for the need of introspective projection of self validation! 😀

Skillchecks are client side, Killers can't affect it with lag.
Also gentapping is the worst method, its still faster to work through Ruin hitting the good skillchecks as long as you don't get that many.
It also prevents you from learning great skillchecks, as long as you don't have the reaction time and muscle memory of a corpse its not that hard. It counters Ruin without even needing a perk.
Also more BP, thats always nice.

Gentapping takes about 20 seconds longer than normal repair time. 1 good skill check cuts 7 seconds, so if you will have 3 skill checks during repairs it will be equal to tapping. If you have more - tapping is faster.

Some people will never learn to hit Great Skill Checks consistently and it has nothing to do with muscle memory or any of that.
Repair Skill Checks are too slow for me and I have a hard time hitting Great ones (I love Stake Out). Healing and Sabotage Skill Checks rotate considerably faster and those I hit almost consistently.

Even when not hitting the Hex Skill Check everytime, just sitting on the Gen is faster than tapping anyway.
