Do we still need the BP cap?

Okay, So I was just thinking. If the BP cap was added to hinder those hacking in new blood points, isn't the BP cap starting to get out of date? Surely there is a better choice than capping out our BP to stop hacking in more Blood Points.

I think they mentioned at some point that they don't want to uncap it because people would be able to 0 P0 → 50 P3 a character in one sitting.
