[STATEMENT] Endgame implementation as well as some balancing is dogsh*t r****ded
- Remember Me: Each time you hit your Obsession increase the time to open the exit gates by 4 seconds, up to a maximum of 8/12/16 seconds.
- RBTs only become active whenever a generator is completed. Inactive RBTs will no longer trigger when attempting to leave via an exit gate. *NOTE: Initiating the End Game Collapse will not complete generators, but will block them. This means that any inactive RBTs will remain inactive.
I was excited when i heard of a timer that would kill at the end of the game, after reading all the specifics and those patch notes i can't even be bothered to boot the game.
- A whole 16 seconds added after 4 hits, whoowy yeez dad, its not like the endgame timer only starts ticking once a gate opens, i'll be sure to accept my second chance at downing them with open arms, these extreme 16 seconds instead of 30 will definitely do it, and if its to protect the poor little soul of the last man who didn't even get to hatch before the killer did, why even bother, its the persons 3TH CHANCE of escaping.
- RBT's won't kill when a person tries to leave trough the exit gates, holy moley, now they can jump through the hatch and just run out the gate with it, and don't worry, it won't activate unless a gen is powered with the helm on you, and after that you have more time to get it of your head that you need to finish 4 gens, if you cared enough to get it of you, its not like you need to anymore, while you're getting chased downed, basically in the near vicinity of the pig the damn thing won't even tick anyway, this would have been actually completely true try if they didn't revert the no ticking in pigs terror aura, the thing won't even do anything when you run out the exit. nice idea to try and "slow down" survivors, its not like they even care to get rid of it anyway, or god forbid try to sacrifice em when you have to stab em 2 times without any aid other killers enjoy, then down them another 2 times prob while getting looped hard, or being called a toxic piece of ######### when you then camp because you have no meaningful other way to locate other survivors but drawing them to you.
- what is even the point of having a timer when the gate is already open, once its open they freaking left anyway, if its solely to stop the hatch standoff's from before, why not just have the:"killer can close hatch" once killer closes hatch survivor can attempt to open gate, if the survivor already located the hatch he'll jump into it before a killer can close it, if the killer closes it before, the survivors didn't do their job to get out or locate the hatch, but is still given some grace to try and leave for a (you guessed it) a freaking 3rd attempt, its not like you already had needed to play the game in order to get the gates open, now you can just jump trough a magic hole, but don't worry if the magic hole isn't open, you can just freaking leave trough the regular exit, without having to bother with any pesky generators, just open the damn thing and you're off, how many chanced you want more ?
- If a killer gets to get 4 kills before the 5th gen pops, you didn't do a good job as survivor, any killer is counter able, as a killer though you can't counter 3 other people you aren't chasing, you can't not chase in order to get downs, gens can be completed in under 5 mins (I've even had games where 4 gens were completed in under 3 min) , a survivor who gives you a run for your money gets you to chase them for at least a solid minute to two if they plan their route carefully and make the right calls on when to drop pallets/vault/turn back ext. that's 2-3 gens completed in a single chase, if they get the right head start, you'll have to chase again usually resulting in another gen completed. while you may have 1 down at that point, not even kill, if you then decide to camp that hook, well, you'll again get called a toxic piece of #########, or they just body block your ass and shine some light in your face and be off to never never land, i'm not saying this is all matches, but the extent of a well organized group off survivors FAR outmatches that of the mid tier killers, and usually leave even the best killers in the dust with maybe 1-2 kills.
Yes, I very much understand that I (Watch this get quoted by everyone with a "git gud comment, i know you want to) might not be the best player, i fully understand that if i might be mechanically better i will most likely end up with a higher kills per game average (currently standing at 1-2), but i can't be the only one for whom a 3 kill match turned into a 4kill one is about 40% chance, and getting 3 kills before 5th gen usually only happens like 1 in 8 to 10 matches. especially with 4 survive with friends using comms, you can get destroyed so easily
Finally thought i'd be able to have some endgame fun with Pig, seems like the Fun Detected robots strike once more, goodbye.

As you said, the EGC fixed way more problems than it caused, and I say this as a killer main. I'm always sad to see Freddy get nerfed any more than he already has been, and I'll admit that perk was likely hit a bit too hard, but I've been having a way better time ever since I didn't have to worry about the last survivor just holding the game hostage by refusing to take the hatch or work on gens.
It sucks to see things get worse, but I'm pretty sure you'll appreciate the wider changes if you continue playing. If you do decide to skip the game from now on, I hope you enjoy whatever other games you play.
