No one knows currently, and I don't think the devs will outright say that she'll be in it if they're trying to keep it on the DL right now about the Scream information.

No one knows, but it's most likely a chapter. The last time they did a Killer paragraph was Leatherface, and that didn't really go well.

There are things that hint towards it. The guy that was supposed to announce the Ghostface Content said on Twitter that it's a chapter with map and survivor . Also there was a glitch from the PTB a few weeks ago showing the map name 'Sidney's house Woodsboro'. Not to mention, it's time for the next 'chapter' to be released, (Every 3 months).

Sidney's house??? I was hoping for a 2 story school. I hope the map is not a reskin of Haddonfield.

It is a chapter, confirmed by the Robert Scott Bean, but he doesn't know if the upcoming survivor is Sidney Prescott.

Yeah man, the Woodsboro high school would be a cool map, but keep in mind that nothing is final yet, as the dlc is not finished yet, so who knows. Plus, this was just a glitch, but considering it was there at all makes it seem like a safe bet we're getting Sidney's house, which I'm not opposed to, frankly. Keep this in mind as well. From what I remember in the movie, Sidney's house was way out in the hills, off to itself , so I'm sure it won't be a Haddonfield reskin.

I'm not opposed to the house as it is important in part 1 and the set version in part 3 just disappointed it isn't an actual school and also afraid we get another reskin.

@SasukeKun Randy wouldn't be bad if he was taken right as he was dying in the van. His backstory plus movie knowledge could be interesting. The map would make less sense though.

It's highly unlikely she's in it, as far as I know the entire patch with all it's content was leaked and no Sidney to be found. I REALLY SHE IS THOUGH, I would love Sydney to be in this game, compared to the other Licensed Survivors Sydney is a fighter, yeah Laurie and Ash are fighters but it took them a bit to get there, Sydney has ALWAYS been a fighter even in the first film.
#########, one of her perks could be something that turns the Killer's power against them, just like at the end of the first movie where Sydney caught the reins and called the Killers ######### with them for a change.

@HatCreature that is why i think Randy could be interesting as well given his knowledge. He may have more stealth perks. It would also be pretty Meta him vs Myers since he knows it is a movie.

Agreed, but here's the thing though. Every Scream movie is based around Sidney, she's pretty much THE main character, let alone final girl. To do a Scream chapter and not include her as the survivor would be foolish, you just don't do that. She is as associated with Ghostface as Laurie is to Michael Myers. It would be nonsensical to choose anyone else over her.

@TheShape78 agreed that she is associated with the entire franchise. I only bring up Randy because of Quentin's back story and the insinuation he was about to die and being pulled by the entity just like others have been alluded to. I guess the idea that Sidney never truly escapes just like Laurie is a downer.

@TheShape78 i know it will sound like blasphemy but i like the version of Freddy we got. The Robert Englund version in the later movies felt to comedic for what he was suppose to be.

However, I hope Sidney makes it, both Laurie and Sidney literally goes through the worst possible scenarios, their families and lovers dying and always being afraid and chased by people in masks with knives.

It's confirmed to be a chapter (new map + Killer + Survivor) we just don't know what form the map or Survivor will take at the moment.

The mask is owned by Funworld, Ghostface and all characters from Scream are owned by a studio. Seeing as we only got the mask and not the full outfit we can assume Behavior got the license from Funworld, this means that Sidney and Woodsboro from Scream can't make it into the game.

Also, I think the map should be Stu's house since the main part of the film was there and only at Sydney's for maybe 5 minutes.

Funworld own the rights to the full look of Ghostface , mask, robes, knife, everything. Even the guy who was supposed to announce it (Robert Scott Bean) confirmed it on his Instagram.

Well this changes everything...at least for the chance of getting the movie robe. It would also explain why Ghostface has the correct buck hunting knife from the movies in game.

The price doesn't matter to me. If it costs more to buy the movie robe, then so be it. I'll buy it either way. That's how much of a Scream /Ghostface fan I am.

I fully agree, but to address the link you posted, again, it is NOT confirmed anywhere that we aren't getting a map and survivor , nor is it confirmed anywhere that they only have the mask rights and not the movie rights. People keep preaching that like gospel , but it's 100% pure speculation and nothing more.

That's true, but I prefer to do it in advance. I really don't think we're going to get Sidney. :( Maybe an original survivor. If the petition turns out to be false, I will delete it or "declare victorious".
