Why do so many peope want to ruin the fun for others?
This is about the average game that I get nowadays.
I like this game. It is fun, I especially like playing it with firiends and now and then you have a game where everyone just has fun. But in recent times, I have experienced the quite opposite.
Playing solo or even in a double Queue is just the worst. The picture you see at the top are two randos who were just letting me die from endgame. I was just disappointed.
The dc's are also getting out of hand now. Somehow surivors now decide to dc even though Ruin has been found and a gen has been made in only 30 seconds, just because they got downed first. Even killers who saw that one survivor has Borrowed Time just straight dc.
Like I said, I like playing it, but there are moments where I just want the game to end instead of living through this nightmare. Should I quit playing it or is there something I can even do about it?

To your last question, i recommend neither choice.
If you can, try it more.
I grew used to it, though that's not me saying they're doing the right things to you.
I just focus on the good as much as possible, maybe that can help you too.

In all honesty, there is not much you personally can do about these issues. I wouldnt say the DCs are getting out of hand now, they have always been out of hand. In the end, you have to decide if this game is fun and you want to keep playing. No one can really decide for you.
One question though, with the screenshot you provided, did the two randos also die from EGC as well?

The jake was running to the exit early but the claudette was waiting for the last second to open the hatch with her key right behind her

People get bored about the same gameplay for multiple 100 hours, but still feel attracted to DbD. So what you do? Create your own gamemode called "bully the killer/survivor"
That's one logical try to explain such a behaviour
