Hooks; Do you hook heal?

Do you prefer to heal an unhooked survivor at the hook, or run away and heal in a corner or pallet?

Personally, i prefer to heal at pallets and corners due to their safety.

    Depends on a few things:

If the Killer is clearly a long way away and / or chasing / carrying another Survivor I'll mend at hook if the Survivor will let me. Basically if it's easily safe to do so.

If the Survivor crouches quickly indicating they're ok to heal at the hook (and it's clearly safe to do so).

If the Survivor runs round a corner, to a pallet / window or cover in general I'll usually follow them for an under cover mend if it's safe to do so.

I bring We'll make it so I don't have to deal with survivors running so far away just for one heal.

i'd prefer to hook heal than spend 30 seconds chasing down a feng just for them to heal themselves for no reason whatsoever

If the killer is not coming back then there is zero point in running away from the hook to heal. A lot of times I’ll be the one getting unhooked and the survivor that rescued me will run away. It’s pretty annoying.

I’m also not gonna chase down a survivor to heal them. You wanna run away? Heal your own damn self, I’m not going to.

If the killer is not nearby, then I'd prefer to heal at the hook. So often, I rescue a survivor from the hook only for them to spend 30+ seconds running to some corner of the map to heal, even though I've been running We'll Make It. Every time I follow to heal them, the killer comes over before we're done, and I die for it. If they'd let me heal them under the hook or at least next to a pallet or something, we'd be fine, but they always run to some dead zone. I've stopped following them at this point. If they'd rather slowly self heal and get downed by the killer before they can finish (true story) instead of letting me take a couple seconds to heal them with WMI, that's their choice.

Another true story: I rescued a survivor off the hook, healed them with WMI, saw another survivor self-healing nearby, went over so I could heal them with my super-fast WMI healing, and they refused to stop and let me heal them until they were 90% finished.

I also hate how often I get rescued off the hook only to be ditched and left injured. It really sucks.

At the hook. I usually run either botany knowledge or Will Make it most of the time so i get really frustrated when the person runs across half the map to heal in some random corner when it was clear the killer is elsewhere chasing someone else.

If I know the killer is engaged elsewhere, I will heal at the hook. If playing SWF and we can coordinate, we'll double heal if possible to get everyone up and running quickly. If the killer is coming back, I'll run off and hide and perhaps heal if I can get to them, without the killer seeing.

Hooked survivor know where it's the killer, probably has exhaustion perk and is injured, so should be his decision

If I know it's safe, sure. Alot of times it's better to move though.

It depends entirely on what's happening.

I only hook heal when I know for a fact that the killer is far away or chasing someone else. I only know this if I have perks for it like Bond, Aftercare, Alert, etc. or if I see the Obsession Claws moving. If I do not know this for a fact, I do not heal at hook. It is too risky and will just get the poor survivor killed (or me killed, if I'm unlucky).
