May 31st Hype: Freddy Rework? :D
I'm so excited to see what's on the 31st of May, but I'm afraid the leaks gave most of it away! However, there is a lot of stuff that we probably didn't see yet such as the Freddy rework! What do you all look forward to on May 31st?

When the leaked killer turns out to be ruse by BHVR and the new Chapter is the most frightening ever. We will all be shocked when the chapter "Happy Family" is released with the most iconic licensed killer yet, Barney the Dinosaur.

I am pumped for the stream, can't wait to hear more about the Scream/Ghostface content, as it would have been announced on May 28.

Nervous about the Freddy rework. Love that guy as is for the most part. Don't like the idea of the most unique killer being reworked to be like everyone else. Fingers crossed they do it right.
Expecting a new game mode after the announcement. Spice it up!

Really looking forward to seeing how they improved play for him and what strategic methods will be viable. Just a little worried about noob catered counter measures though. Even after his initial changes there were alot of survivor complaints.

Agreed.
Having a mobile game of DBD seems like a waste of resources when the PC and Console versions are constantly being worked on. It seems like a hassle to let alone not only add in a Switch version, but a mobile one too. I rather those resources go into the Quality of the already-existing platforms.

I can argue about the need for cosmetics... but a mobile game? As if this base game isn't already bugged to high heaven. There was this huge thread a few months back with all the bugs, wants and needs of the community. I can't find it.. but I wish BHVR would focus on that instead of a mobile game.

I am not excited at all. Behavior focuses on making killers FUN for survivors to face.. and that means the new and improved Freddy is going to be either gimmicky as ######### or nerfed TO BE WORSE than he currently is.

Boy I can't wait for dream world to not slow action speed and not reveal auras and then they can call Freddy "fixed" and "fun."

I expect a hard nerf for Freddy. Disguised as a buff. People still complain about him and DC.

Well atleast we Freddy mains, including @DocOctober , @DudeDelicious , @PhantomMask20763 can tell everyone that we were right.
But we shouldn't complain about it, they reacted to the Legion rework feedback (most claiming he is weak) by further nerfing his addons.

I enjoy playing Freddy. He's nowhere near Billy or Nurse, but he allows some nice mindgames.
Devs overreacted back when he was released and rank 20 survivors review bombed. They nerfed after 2 weeks.
Since then we've waited for a buff.
Devs don't ask mains for input. Which turns out horribly.

I'm confused about the timing of the freddy rework gameplay. I think it would be crazy releasing a freddy rework at the same time as the next chapter.
Freddy basically is a new killer because he has been completely reworked so some people may choose not to buy Ghostface if freddy is released at the same time.
Hopefully the gameplay is shown, Ghostface is released mid June and then freddy will be added at the end of June.

I enjoy it too, when mastered the stalling is so good that you don't feel nearly as pressured as other Killers, also maxes his BP naturally very fast.
He does not need a rework, atleast not a full one. Give him some QoL amd a few minor buffs and hes good enough.

Yea freddy is more iconic. But from a money perspective if they bring out the new freddy with the new killer it would be crazy.
Less people will buy Ghostface if he is released alongside freddy rework.

It would generate a crap ton of hype though... maybe it would pull a ton of people back and to the game... on top of it all other new things coming out... game could booming again...
