pretty much self explanatory lol

I don't see any problem with michel one. They didn't drop pallet fast enough.
As for freddy, that's just literally lag fault
As for spirit, she attack you BEFORE the pallet stun her (look at slow motion)

Jesus, those screams

😂😂😂 latency kills brother

The only problematic one was Wraith. Michael was perfectly ok, I think he would have got you there even with a normal lunge, and he was in EW3, so... Freddy and Spirit: there was obvious lag. With Spirit, that's also partly due to inconsistent animation (which devs are working on, according to their latest stream). But her timing and the time of pallet drop is clear, this one SHOULD be a hit. Btw, that's probably the case with Wraith too, only I can't quite spot it.
At any rate, this video pretty much does the opposite of what you want: shows how getting cocky is not worth it. Just drop the pallet in time.

The first one was a latency issue. the others were your rage.

What you don't understand is the person dropped the pallet in time. But the lunge knife prevented it. Also to be able to lunge around a corner through a whole area and catch someone is pretty ridiculous. also the first hit from the spirit before the vault was ridiculous because as you can see the spirit is literally behind them with like 90% of her attack done. Also the mike one was to show how ridiculous the lunge is and the killer speed. juke them twice, they just recover quicker than you move 5 steps and then just lunge smack you. Nothing you can do. And so you're basically saying with the dedicated servers those issues will disappear? as far the lag ones you mentioned? that's good if so

So you gonna act like the spirit didn't miss the jake and swing through the pallet stun and ghost hit him? You gonna act like the jake had an option to pallet slam before mike could lunge a friggin yard to hit him? You gonna act like the spirits first hit didnt hit the vault area which jake was nowhere near? lol? you gonna act like the wraith didn't completely miss, then get stunned, then hit the jake?

@23flash you say: "to be able to lunge around a corner through a whole area and catch someone is pretty ridiculous"
360-s are ridiculous, yet they're in the game too. If we're talking about what's realistic and not (which we shouldn't, it is not a main concern in any game), turning for any character should be much slower. Yes, including lunge.
"Playability" always trumps notions of realism, and with good reason.

I've said it before, this game doesn't care if you're good if Hitboxes are a problem.
2 -
And as many have also said before. Know what you are talking about before complaining.
DbD is an online game.It takes time (lag) for data to be sent from one person to another and that is going to effect everything within a game. If you want to react to something in an online game you need to account for said lag. This isn't a single player game where you can wait till the very last micro-second and expect to not be punished.
Say you have a ping of 50ms. That is 50 mirco seconds, or .05 of a second delay. This means ANY time you move or do anything, it takes .05 seconds for that input to be sent to another player. It isn't just the ping either. It takes time for you see an action, time to press a button in reaction, THEN the input data is sent, and finally animations play out. All in all, that time adds up. Fast. Reaction times alone for the average human can be a staggering .25 of a second. Meaning that the VERY low ping of 50ms, is a full .30 of a second delay. Higher pings makes things worse as a normal 80-100ms ping is .08-.10, taking it to a .33-.35 second reaction delay in reaction time and lag ALONE! You then STILL have animation times that effect things even further!
Host or client both share this delay. So in the posted video him waiting for the very last moment is often too late as the Killer already started an attack and maybe landed a hit before OP likely pressed a button to start with. Reaction in online gaming isn't really reacting at all, it is prediction.
And if you think Dedicated Servers are going to help, you have no idea at all. Dedicated servers add ANOTHER segment in the data chain that adds even MORE time to it all. P2P is you to the host and host to you. Servers is you to the server to the other player or the other play to the server then to you. In a fast paced melee focused game like DbD, dedicated servers wont help in the least and will likely ruin the game.
TL:DR
It isn't hitboxes. Never was. It's just normal everyday online gaming.

The problem is that you're camping at the pallet when you should keep the loop going and you're trying too hard for a stun

Tbf, many of this game's hitboxes are completely screwed, particularly Leatherface's and the map terrain, which also screws with Huntress. I'm well aware that hitboxes are squares represented by slimmer, non-square meshes, but this doesn't explain why LF tantrums leaving through the bus or under the crane on Autohaven because the hitbox from above him clips into him enough to trigger a tantrum.
Not to mention you can be 3 feet away from a wall and still hit it, which is unequivocally a hitbox issue and not lag. There's also tremendous counterintuition with respects to angles, as looking directly at a wall is less likely to tantrum than looking at a slight angle.

On topic only the first one was really questionable, the rest were the combined efforts of greed and latency.

Its not only Lag, the Hitboxes are also #########. Especially Chainsaws and Hatchets, but Nurse-Lunges also look ridiculous. I mean, I get stuck on a Pebble on the ground (or a root of a Tree) and that Hillbilly cuts through the Tree.
And for Nurses, even with like 50 Ping (and this is a good Ping for me, I am living in the wasteland of Germany...) some Hits look horrible. I mean, maybe this will change with what the Devs are working on. I dont have any problem when the Hit should connect anyway, as long as it looks like that. But some Hits simply look wrong.
I even see some Bullshit-Hits when playing Killer. They are far more rare than from Survivor Perspective, but sometimes I really see some Hits I land which should not hit.

The mic. makes this really funny to watch.

All 3 are latency

Literally all of these are latency. You are in laggy games, nothing else. You need to throw the pallet sooner.
0 -
You should have a sound warning for this video.
1 -
You shouldn’t 360 as much. Most of these are your fault- but that’s just my opinion.
4 -
Exactly.
Loop the pallet, but don’t waste too many.
2 -
That first Wraith one is the only concerning looking one, and almost definitely an issue of latency. The rest all looked normal. That's just the obvious result of getting greedy and waiting for the pallet stun instead of ensuring your get away by dropping as soon as you need to.
