Why would we get free Auric Cells for playing the game for 3 years? We play this game for our enjoyment and the devs have been working on this game for 3 years...

Because some people in the PS4 platforms cannot even buy Auric cells or any other DLC. Also as a gift for all of us.

I deeply sympathize with those who want Auric Cells but cannot afford it.

While this isn't really a workable idea (giving cells to ALL platform players is basically giving money to all of them... sure, some of them will sink that money right back into the devs, but plenty will be buying licensed skins or dlcs or characters and the devs will still have to pay their partners), a few auric cell giveaways might be a reasonable way they might celebrate. Still not something that the devs owe us, but something they might do.
