One of the other emblems deals with how much damage you do I think. Its just not enough points to justify the low Chaser.

Normal attacks score per downing: 2x chase duration score and 2x chase hit score. If killer is optimally downing (tunneling) of course.

Current instantdowns: 1x chase duration score and chase hit score.

Arguably they could double the chase hit score for instantdown attacks or exposed survivors. This would result in 1x chase duration score and 2x chase hitscore. This solution would not give as much score as m1 chasing them, but since you're not actually chasing them, this might be "fair".

The Malicious emblem also doesnt account for instant downs.

Exactly, then we degenerate in some stupid cases like infinite tombstone meyers, even tho you do the achievement, since you lost all of the first chases and instantly ends the others, you basically depip (and im doing a thing devs specifically asked for)

That is the whole point though with one shots and the emblems.

Why should you be rewarded for double the work when you've only did half of it?

I love M1 Billy... I play M1 Billy allot... I use my chainsaw the odd time in the match if I want to put on extra pressure if I need it.

But... I don't expect to be rewarded for work I didn't do.

As a M1 Billy... You take the risk by two shotting every survivor.... just like taking in a Wraith.

Why be punished for using your power though? It's the whole point of using certain killers well.

A good Billy will get more chainsaw instadowns than a bad one, which will probably fail chainsaws and M1 people a lot.

@ASpazNamedSteve  yeah but you miss out on a huge portion of the chase.

When you one shot they go right down.. not get a sprint burst and then have the ability or chance to waste another minute or so of your time.

So you did half the work.

If one shots get rewarded with doing a same as a 2 shot killer like the Wraith.

Then why bother playing any 2 shot killer other than the nurse?

You'd make it so much easier for one shot killers to rank up... which might not be a bad thing.. but you already have Billy being one of the best killers. Now that would make him even more powerful.

Risk vs Reward.... you don't take the risk, then why should you get rewarded.

@TheBean I guess we'll just have to disagree. But you don't always miss out on a huge portion of the chase, because to get in a position to get instadowns with your power is much harder than being in a position to M1.

Like to me M1'ing is the non-risk play, because they are way easier to land and way harder to avoid as surv.

Yeah, it sucks. Killers shouldnt be punished for using their abilitys. Maybe we need a new emblem that give you points for using your skill as killer. But without put a higher requirement to rank, or maybe just a little bit higher for killer. To make it hard like now even with a new emblem.
