DC Solution?
I'm new to the forum, sorry if this has already been suggested.
But I was thinking, maybe a solution to the disconnecting problem, would be, if a person is disconnected twice during their game session, then they are temporarily banned for 3 days.
I understand that sometimes, you could legitimately get logged off due to your internet, but even if you do get legitimately disconnected twice, and you have a problem with your internet, then you probably shouldnt be playing that day anyway, cause whether its intentional or not, it screws up the gaming community.
But if the disconnecting issue is intentional, If a person knows that disconnecting twice will get him banned for a few days, then I have a feeling it will stop those who do want to keep playing from disconnecting.
Just a suggestion. I play on ps4, and sometimes, the game is almost unplayable. I literally have a 10 minute wait on some days, and then after you finally play, a player DC after getting hooked, and it screws up the rest of the game. And then having to wait another 5-10 minutes for the next game.

There's a bit of an issues there: Someone could just restart the game after disconnecting to avoid that. It would count as a different session so the counter would reset.

Good to know that it took only almost 3 years for it to become a high priority issue. Meanwhile you still get rewarded for disconnecting (lower rank = better due to faster matchmaking)

i think 2 times is a little harsh...
if we were to say you can DC 3 times a day before getting softbanned for 24 hours i think it might be better.
you gotta see, there are also things that can happen irl (e.g. internet crash, important package delivered, etc.) that force you to DC. and i think getting banned after the 2nd time sthg like this happens might be too harsh. just imagine facing 2 killers a day that force you to DC by taking the game hostage. should you get banned for that? i dont think so.

Very glad to hear you guys are making it a priority to fix the DC issues.
I absolutely love this game, but there was a period there recently, where I finally stopped playing for weeks. I recently, just now started playing again, and it feels like the DC is even worse. lol
