Ghost Face--A Question For The Devs

So I already knew that you guys had the license for the mask and not for Scream and that meant no Sydney and no map from that franchise.

My question to everyone is, since you are creating your own character with said mask, their own lore etc why not make a custom map to go with him that ALSO has nothing to do with the franchise? You could have made a custom map to go with this new character, it could be a new Killer and new Map, but no Survivor. I'm only saying this because it looks like the deal could only gave you the mask but what stopped you from creating more around the character, I'm sure since you only had the mask there was no rule that stopped you from adding other things to go with it that actually had nothing to do with that license.

It's like I'm allowing you to make a spoon in my image but just the spoon, well there's nothing in the deal that could possibly stop you from making a meal to go with the spoon right? The food has nothing to do with the spoon you're just releasing the awesome iconic spoon with something to go with it ;)

Everyone loves new Killers but I'm positive a lot of us get excited for the new maps, if you guys released 3 new maps in a package with no Killer I'm sure at least 75% of the fanbase won't complain.

Well, it's not entirely original . The buck knife from the films is in there, the perk name 'simple formula ', the mori animation being practically straight out of the first Scream film , and even the 90's cell phone. All we need is the movie robe, which like the knife and mask, are owned by Funworld , so it's very possible we'll get the robe. This is clearly the movie version of Ghostface, we just need that robe :)

We are changing the way we handle maps going forward. I can't give any details just yet, but this will be one of the things we talk about during the anniversary stream this Friday.

@Peanits I'd buy an Auric Cell pack to celebrate the news that you're finally making the maps static, so there's no "how much am I getting ######### in the ass by the RNG today" mechanic to each map.
