Temple Of Purgation rework

The map just feel's bland, lazy and not thought through.

It is a big map, which is a slight problem however the Temple and the surrounding scenery accompanying it really take the fun out of the match.

As a survivor it feel's really safe to do anything as long as your not being chased, and with 3 survivors feeling safe, well match's go quickly.

As a killer it's frustrating, you never get a line of sight, and the distance you have to cover for generator's and chase's is ridiculous in-itself.

A map shouldn't be un-safe with just nurse or an insta-billy.

The temple itself is somewhat of a letdown, it's this big block which open's into a square room, with one way vault's and a small balcony, and then there's the basement. I have yet to see any use of the basement area outside of the pallet near the generator down there. If the generator was on the other side it would make more sense, but the entire back area down there is just never used.

The entire map is this large square shape, honestly this should have been a choke point map with the temple being the choke point, that would have made sense. It's absurd the amount of wall's and pallet spot's that litter the area just outside the temple, and then again on the farthest edge's.

Also the generator spawn's, they spawn the furthest possible distance's. if these spawned closer in to the temple, that would be fine, but there always at the furthest point's they can be.

These are just some idea's on what could make it better, i don't know how other's feel about it, or if other's have idea's on how to make it better. The map just feel's broken when playing either side, and when you have 26 other map's that are alright it hurt's to see this map break that.

    Well I don't feel the game has 26 alright maps. Coldwind maps are just torturous on my eyes. Too much corn and clutter. Haddonfield is legitimated broken when survivors use BL and same goes for Bedham.

    Honestly, a lot of maps have gotten too big lately. Too much distance to cover for most killers and the extra space is allowing for extra spawning of terrain and vaults and palettes. It can be overwhelming when you're not using a killer with consistent high mobility and have poor eyesight as a person.

    You should leave at most 2 map variations and create new maps.

    Well... this map is kinda broken for a nurse, especially this underground area, you can so easy get there by an accident.

    Also when the basement spawn in the middle... it covers only one generator, which is a joke... probably the most useless basement location in the game.

    The biggest two issues with the map is that there's a lot of new tiles that's not present on any other maps.. and that's its HUGE in size. Both maps in the Red Forest are huge.

    Agreed, I was so disappointed when it was just a rehash of the Red Forest map. And now with the new "chapter" there wont be a map. So there's that. I'm BORED! :-(
