Getting grabbed out of a locker with head on
I personally don't think a killer should be able to grab you when you're fast vaulting out of a locker with head on. ESPECIALLY when the animation looks like it's done and then boom you get grabbed out the animation itself doesn't make sense.
It's already hard to land, from my experience the killer needs to be on the sides of the locker but if they're right in front of it (which common sense would tell me it should work even more) it doesn't work. smh

Lag favors the killer since they're hosting. You should always do it a second or two early.
Personally I do it when they're -right- at the edge of the radius they need to be in to open it.

Well you have to understand how the game is trying to interpret what is happening. As a survivor you're connecting and sending data packets to the killer. The killer effectively has zero ping while you have whatever latency exists between you. The killer is playing in an effective "real time". The game tries to make everyone see the same thing and play actions are properly as possible, but when interactions overlap some times the game picks one over the other.
Since the killer is in "real time" the game picks the grab over the rushed locker exit. You'd be better off trying to hit killers at the sides of the locker.

You stun them by pressing space when they are directly in front of the locker, that's the only timing that matters. Then the stun triggers after the animation is finished so it always looks like you stun them when they are nowhere near (and is why you can be grabbed/hit before it triggers).
It should probably stun from the start of you jumping out of the locker, would be more intuitive and make more sense visually.

My friend actually had the same idea last night. She wants them to make Head On give a passive benefit: you cant be grabbed while speed exiting a locker regardless of exhaustion or not. Like how Balanced Landing has the passive stagger reduction

It's 2019 and this game couldn't have Dedicated Servers already implemented.

That is not happening. Unless you want Head-On to only do that and not have a stun. BL is a chase perk, but it has been made quite clear that Head-On is a perk that is meant to be a setup perk. Lockers are supposed to be risky plays.

@ReikoMori Or at least make it so that you're immune to the grabbed while rushing out of a locker when head on becomes ready to use and while you're exhausted it will go back to normal.
I like the concept of the perk but it feels like it's a miss, at least until dedicated servers come into play.

When you sprint out of a locker you should be given a buff that lasts 4 seconds that allows you to aim for the KIller and apply the current builds stun.
Fix Head On already.
