    Well, first of all, you have to understand that the game is in EA. This means it's not properly balanced, and has bugs and exploits.

    Starting out on either side is very difficult, particularly as a hunter, but it gets better the more you play and understand.

    The hunter is a force to be reckoned with if they know how to play - they can (and usually will) kill you instantly once you're down. You'll only escape if you're better than the hunter. It's like DbD if every killer was the Nurse.

    Scavengers are also not to be ignored. The healing arrows can revive someone who's dying before you can even get to them, but there's no way to interrupt an execution once the interaction has begun.

    Overall, the gameplay is fun, but you have to keep in mind that the game is not perfectly balanced due to being in EA. However, the devs came pretty close to balancing it properly.
