Ghostface, more like Noface.
I am feeling like the dev team missed the mark on this chapter. The power sucks, the perks suck and the killer sucks in general. No Stu or Billy as Ghostface but your OC is... right. I mean it’s not like it’s iconic that those two where the OG Ghostface. Oh and if the survivor isn’t Sidney Prescott, this isn’t Screams Ghostface. More like Scary Movie Ghostface. Which is... boring and plain. I feel like they really dropped the ball here.

We don't need more Nurse or Billy clones.
The power is very unique and I look forward to P3-50ing Ghost Face a few days into his release.

The power is a combination of Pig's crouch and Myer's stalk, except it's completely countered by a survivor looking at you in your TR for at least 1 second. That's garbage even on paper.
I'd rather him have been a clone of any of the three top tier killers rather than two of the shittier ones. At least we could say there were 4/15 killers played at red ranks at that point.

To be honest I would of liked a whole new kind of power. Like everybody has a phone and he gets to call you. You can’t move until you answer it. The survivor once in a call has to do three hard skill checks. If you fail, the killer gets to either have the exposed status on that one survivor or get tho know where they are.
I just wanted something closer closer to the damn movie. Hell even Freddy is more close to the actual Freddy and he isn’t sh*t tier.

I'm with you. Don't really know what else to say at this point. Unless the devs pull a spirit and give Ghostface some solid buffs before he releases, it's safe to say he's going to be useless, especially against SWF. He doesn't even have any good perks to transfer over to other killers.

I like his power, and am glad he's in the game at all, but agreed that a movie map and Sidney would have been great. Maybe they'll get the rights to add her later. Also agreed that his perks are disappointing , but I have others already in mind for him.

I don't see why we need more OP Killers for 10 million Survivor mains to complain about.

I'm not gonna lie that ability is pretty #########, I mean it'll be fun when it works but against people who pay any attention at all it ain't gonna be all that, the perks are mediocre aside from the token one which might be ok. Let's think about it, 0 anti loop potential, very easy to counter, let's the survivor know when it actually popped giving them time to gtfo and is guaranteed to get a pallet to the face in the right spot.

a very unique killer with a unique playstyle and counterplay.
i wouldnt say he is weak, but he probaply wont make it to billy / nurse level.
still, a fun killer to pick and have fun with. not every killer needs to dominate like billy or nurse do, especially if its a killer you NEED to pay for (licensed), as that would equal pay2win, which the DbD team is trying to avoid at all costs.

They have licencing issues of course it wont be someone from the movies they littrely cant do that.

I'm probably still gonna pick him up cause I've wanted Ghostface since I started playing the game but I have to agree that they didn't really do much to connect to anything movie related. I understand theres rights issues and its cool hes gonna be there but its kind lame to have Ghostface and almost completely ignore the films hes from. Like at least load his perks up with references and stuff.

True, but to be fair, they did give him the blade wipe from the films, the Buck 120 knife, the 90's cell phone, and the mori is darn near identical to the scene where he gets on top of Sidney in the first film. Also the rope and duct tape he buys in the trailer are nods to the first 2 kills in the first film. Really wish they would have kept the perk name simple formula though.

My main disappointment was Ghostface not being Billy or Stu. I was kinda also hoping that Sidney wasn’t the survivor. Maybe I was expecting to much. Meh. I’ll still give him a go.

Agreed. I'd really love more nods and connections to the movies. Maybe if we bug behaviour enough they'll accommodate us Scream nerds.

I mean, I’d even like it if the Officer Dewy was Scream. Just somebody that was in the films. Not an OC. It’s like putting the The Shape mask on some random dude called Jerry or Bubba’s mask on Chris. What’s the point of using an existing IP but not to it’s full extent.

Which is why they need to remove that whole aspect of it. The developers should surely know by now that survivor players constantly check their surrounding, especially while repairing generators. It's like they're trying to empower the survivors over the killer, like they're trying to make his power useless , purely based on such a foolish design choice as that. With any luck, the PTB should straighten this out...hopefully.

They got the rights to use the mask. If they wanted to do a full on Scream chapter they would also have to spend a lot more money to get the rights to use movie characters. The devs went with the better solution and you all are whining. "It's nOt A ScrEAm ChaPteR! REEEEEEEEEEE!!!"

Ummm. They used Michael Myers IP to the full extent... we got Laurie Strode, we got the music that goes with him, his power is authentic to his character and of course his perks do not suck. In fact, if you want to go down the they down have to use the IP fully. They did with SAW, Leatherface and Freddy. Which would be more expensive since they used both survivor and killer... So why not Scream. The consistency of bringing the licensed S&K is key to make homage to them.
