DS and MoM

Its too strong a combo, though once MoM is nerfed it won't be as strong, but DS is still active for way too long, it should be reduced to 15/30/45 instead of 40/50/60. And MoM is just dumb, and together with that plus adrenaline, survivors have way too many second chances, while its difficult for killers to even get the expose status. Even NOED isn't guaranteed. Honestly I've tried playing legitamte, but I'm tired of being talked out of using NOED when nearly every survivor I run into uses some kind of OP crutch perk, and usually multiples, so I don't see a problem with using one crutch perk that can be countered way easier then any survivor crutch perk.

You are complaining because you don't want to use certain perks as killer?... but survivors are taking whatever perks they want?

    I'm missing the point here....

Take whatever perks you want and play how you want.

Playing legitimately? As long as you aren't breaking the rules of the game then you are playing legitimately.

If someone runs at you, they likely have DS. It isn't that hard to work around and it's about paying attention to who you hook. People are trying to use the perk as it's only used in tunneling situations now which will likely not happen to you every game.

They're reworking MoM to make it harder to get (and be more annoying to killers). It triggers a lot of killers when you block the hook, so not sure what they're thinking.

, you can get downed on porpuse and the perk will activate.

I think DS will be fine after they nerf the stun time to compensate how they nerfed Enduring against it, but if they didn't, I still wouldn't mind because it has a condition and a easy counter. However, I understand your points about time since you could hook someone and still get hit by DS. Perhaps when the killer hooks someone, all DS timers will instantly expire since you're not actually tunneling anymore because you went after someone else.

DS is absolutely fine now, though I agree the MoM combo is very oppressive. MoM is being nerfed soon though, so eh.

it doesn't activate upon being downed, and having to purposely down yourself or else lose out on being able to use your perk is bad game design

    DS is fine.

Guy with DS gets downed and you hook him, gets rescued by a guy and you down the rescuer and let the DS go. You hook the person that unhooked the DS user, the DS user runs back and unhooks in front of your face, you down him and let the hooked go like last time.

Get slapped with DS for doing the exact opposite of tunneling.

That's not tunneling, but it is bullshit.

@Andreyu44 Sometimes you HAVE to tunnel, like when the only hook available to you is right outside an open exit gate and all the SURVIVORS are face camping the hook with borrowed time and they all have MoM + DH

You're right. Running a perk for the off chance of you getting unhook tunneled, to prevent the impossible chance of you escaping, that activates when you would be #########, is good game design.

Shame you worded it horribly wrong, people may think you want broken OP perks with no real thinking/strategy involved.

Second chance perks aren't an issue by themselves. However, when you combine them on multiple survivors, the killer has to work ridiculously hard to win even if the survivors play like complete crap.

I still get hit by DS after hooking a brand new person before snatching up the DS person again (who is usually the dumbest person in the group, running out into the open, not giving a #########, etc). Guess I'm tunneling the whole team now.. *Shrug.*

MoM is being nerfed and DS is fine where it is.

If you get DS'sed then you get MoM activated on the same person. You're doing it wrong.

    Stop tunnelling.

    "Too strong combo"

I only agree with MoM (can be denied by m2 killers, but well it's getting nerfed)

    But DS?

    Seriously?...
