Until we get dedicated servers...
Can we make it where if someone has ANYONE in the lobby 200 consistent ping or above the game is cancelled, so we can't have laggy killers constantly? I've been getting in matches with 300+ ping all day. I leave, immediately get put back in another lobby with 300+ ping. Possibly the exact same lobby, but I can't tell cuz I'm on PS4.

Agreed. They should also revert the hidden ping indicator change that they made.

If you are constantly getting pings that high that means you're playing killers outside of your region. Which depending on what time it and where you are is going to be the case.
The ping isn't hidden, but it is on a delay so that it can show you the stabilized ping.

Well... i had a lobby with a consistent 1100 ping with one drop to 600... same with everyone else in that lobby...

@ReikoMori It was in the middle of the day on the weekend. I generally don't have these problems.

OR hear me out.. just leave the lobby. No killer wants a survivor with 200-300 ping either. You stay, you deserve the punishment.

@ReikoMoriStupidMonkeyy I think you missed the part where I said it was multiple lobbies back to back. I basically had to quit playing because it kept putting me in those games/lobbies. If the lobby was cancelled if someone in the lobby had a steady 201+ ping, then the killer would ALSO have to rejoin the queue, making it less likely to get put back in possibly the same lobby you just left.

I'm just telling you how the system works usually. If you're getting high pings on a consistent basis then you're more than likely getting placed with killers outside your region. If not then you're either A) Having a network issue. B) Your isp is having a server latency issue. C)You're getting every killer with bad internet for your region and no one else with better connection is on.
Killers don't really queue in the traditional sense as by default we host the game so that means it is actually best if you wait a minute or two before trying to matchmake so they are more likely to already be in a game and out of the lobby pool.

@ReikoMori I could have sworn I @'d StupidMonkeyy and not you in that post, but anyways, it was intended for StupidMonkeyy as he was assuming incorrectly. As for the way killers queue, I know, I was just saying that likely if a killer had to set up their lobby again, it'd likely give the survivor time to get in a different queue. Or at least give them a chance. No one wants to play with someone with 300+ ping in their game, so I don't see why it should be possible. As for the waiting 2 minutes, survivor queues already take upwards of 10 minutes generally(I once had one with a 20 minutes queue). If the lobby was wiped out, there'd be less of a chance to get in a re-queue with the same killer imo.
