Dying light feel useless now
Even if you manage to kill obsession, just one DS trigger make dying light useless again
What's the point for this perk again?
I think they need rework Dying Light perk

Dying Light was never not useless

Once you think about it, if you got D-Striked, you can just catch up to them and hook them again. If anything, all it does is change your target. However, Dying Light wasn't wonderful to begin with.

People only ever run dying light with a mori, perk is garbo and was never good.

I can verify this 100%, was stuck with it as a new Mikey for a long time, because he was the first I got teachables for thus not a lot of perks to choose from, almost always used a tombstone piece or mori (at the time obsessions were running old DS anyway) makes no sense to have a perk that encourages you to get rid of the obsession early just to get that penalty it’s bad for the obsession and the killer, I’d rather a buff to thanatophobia to be honest...It’s not that it’s become bad now, it’s just that it’s even worse now

The Devs said in some Q&A they would change DL for the new Obsession mechanic.
For getting DSed I have a tip for you:
Do. Not. Tunnel.
Sometimes it's not possible not to but most times the survivor is dead on hook anyway and therefore not a problem.
DL was and is a niche perk because the success depends of your and the Obsession's skill in chase. And since the Obsession (if in purple or red ranks) is mostly experienced, this can be very difficult.
But when using a Mori or Tombstone it does well. I love the Mors Ambitio Daily on Myers because of it :)

@thedevalex I read it somewhere here in the forum. It was a Q&A when the new DS was tested I think.
