Give camped survivors Distraction points while killer’s Chaser emblem is being penalized

Is there a reason this can’t work, cause it would seem to make perfect sense. They are occupying the killer when he fits the criteria to have chaser penalized (within 16m of hook, not in chase, no survivor within radius..). Id call that a distraction. While I am no dev, it would seem to be pretty easy to implement, since everything is basically in place for it already. I don’t know how many points to give, but obviously the longer it goes on the more points you get. I know people would still hook suicide (or DC), but I think the person knowing the killer is giving them additional points would certainly help some.

Killer chaser emblem is already effected by camping. You shouldn't get free points for being caught.

I'm going to agree with this. You shouldn't be rewarded for losing, no matter how annoying it is to get camped. A distraction assumes you actively distracted the Killer from doing something else. Clearly his entire focus is Killing you. You aren't distracting him from anything. His main objective is to kill you, not stop generators.

So would this go for Altruism or Boldness Points? :D

That should go into the Survival category. Its already pretty much impossible to max that out.

Well, Self Care and Decisive Strike then escaping does fill it up a lot. Struggling on hook gives up to 900 I think. :)

Im a kil....survivor* main obviously and I think we should not be rewarded for being on the hook, that would go against the purpose of the game and make the game less fun for us....survivors......SURVIVORS RULE!!!!

    I mean....being camped sucks.

Solo Kindred Base kit would be a great response to this.

    Or something.

Ok but also give killers 4k bonus BP for each survivor that escapes if we're so keen on rewarding failure.

You can call it distraction but in reality you've failed to evade the killer and also was unlucky enough to meet hard camper with bad teammates. It's annoying but not every match is supposed to end to your liking, sometimes you just have to accept bitter loses no matter how unfair you feel they were.

If you want to reward survivors for their failure then it's only fair to reward killers the same way. And saying that killers don't deserve it is tottaly the same for survivor hanging on that hook. He also didn't do anything himself to deserve those distraction BP yet you want to reward him just for not killing himlsef. It's like saying that we should reward each player by bonus BP just becasue they didn't go AFK at the start of the match.

As much as I would like that, I dont think this is the correct way. You should only get points when you are doing something. Being on the Hook and not killing yourself when you get camped is not "doing something".
