Why not keep variants of killer reworks in kyf?
Ie for example prior Freddy vs future Freddy. And other reworks in the future. Just have the old editions kept in kyf for comparisons and for just messing around with. Not exactly a much needed feature but would be a welcome one so that people can still mess around with old content.

Name me one game that does that.
It's a good idea but still im curious if you know any other game that did that

I don't know of any but wish more did haha
Tbh I'd also like to be able to mess around with old variants of perks and game mechanics with everything new.

Killer Instinct Classic on the Xbox One easily allows you to adjust the version of the game to the original broken arcade version that has infinite combos, or the rebalanced version rereleased on XBone.

Because bugs and the problem of where to draw the line makes the entire thing one giant headache

Diablo 3 did briefly. When they do the classic Diablo rift where you go to old tristram with the old graphics, you have the 8 way movement instead of 360 control. Minor change, but definitely noticeable.

That would be pretty neat, but I'm not sure if it would be worth the trouble. Things naturally break over time (particularly in KYF where the killer isn't always the host). Having more variations of the killers leaves more things to break, which means more time spent fixing things that aren't even used by the vast majority of people. You'd also have to determine what's worth keeping around and what isn't. Should old trapper and wraith be available, or is that not enough because they still have roughly the same power? If not, what about Legion? Freddy is getting a whole new power so that makes sense, but the rest is a big grey area.

Especially since Moris in KYF are bugged and won't work on console... Any plans to fix it yet..? Kinda bored of not killing my friends using a Mori.
