Hi everyone, I apologize in advance if there exists a similar topic discussion. I been curious to know why a lot of people doesn't like Freddy in this game. I am not making this to piss anyone off in any possible way. It took me months to fully get why people didn't like The Legion, I do. I felt the same way towards this topic. Freddy is already my favorite slasher of all time. Obviously soon he will be reworked, I'm very excited for that. Also if possible please keep it civil in here. I really do not want people acting like babies over this. Trust me if I wanted that, I would've made memes instead.

    So your talking about current pre-rework Freddy? I love him he is the ultimate tracker and would have jumped tiers once the new obsession perk came out. New one? [Bad word] tracking, interesting yet clunky power idea interested in gen port though. Would have loved ultimate chase Freddy but devs said no with rework

    I point out something about current Freddy that might still be in the rework, it's not the Aura tracking but we might still be able to mindgame.

    The people who claim Freddy’s weak, just don’t know how to play him properly. He’s not the strongest, but he is good. With his add-ons, he’s GREAT. Against low-mid ranked survivors (10-20), you should get a 4K every time, or 3 with 1 hatch escape. This applies to mid/low ranked survivors only: they don’t respect Freddy, so they make dumb mistakes, like unhooking a mate right in front of you...2 easy dream pulls, easy tunneling opportunity. Tunneling is frowned upon, but who cares. If they’re going to make a mistake that dumb, they should pay for it. And imo, Legion is top 5 killers...best map pressure killer in the game.

    I like Freddy the way he is.

    In the RIGHT hands he can be more OP than Nurse which is one of the reasons why people hate Freddy.

    On the other end of the spectrum Freddy in the WRONG hands is just extreme potato. - Also why people hate Freddy.

    In both situations the answer is still the same - 'Git Gud' -tm.

    At this point I'm pretty sure that half the reason he's getting reworked is because none of the big name streamers wanted to take the time to learn him, or even figure out that he can't be played as a powerhouse like most other killers.

    The other half is a mix of Rank 20s getting destroyed by him (like every other killer, really,) and people getting bored of the Potato Freddies that just use his power to tunnel.

    It's a shame really, I enjoyed his stall, his mindgames, and his tracking, while on the other hand I despise trapping play styles. I hear Deathgarden's pretty good, and I could always go for another match of Civilization.

    Freddy is the best! Like everyone I am not very fond of change but I am such a Freddy's fanboy that I would play as him even if they make his power heal survivors :-P

    Yes, freddy is weak. Good for midtier survivors only sucks,I main freddy and trust me, it's really up to survivors if you do well. I'm a fan but weak is weak. Maybe you're lucky and face derpy survivors who can't loop lol

    All you had to say was, I’m not that good with him. I’m averaging a 4 killer rank atm, and the Add ons are almost required at this point, still a 4K or 3 with a hatch out...easy 30k bp
