I feel like a disabled person playing Spirit
Seriously. Survivors are silent af and chase music is so ######### loud. Even with Stridor I can't hear what's happening right in front of my face. I played two matches with and without headphones just to test and here's what I noticed: there's no much difference, but it's more comfortable without them.

Sounds have been busted for quite some time now. They've acknowledged this fact and said they're working on it right now.
Are you playing the PTB? I can't because I'm on PS4, but I've read that they've lowered the chase music and indoor or behind walls gen sounds/footsteps have shown some improvement.

Sound is completely fu**ed right now because the devs cant go a week without breaking the game some more

The chase music is definitely quieter on the PTB but I couldn't test much because of queue times. Let's check out what things are gonna be after this patch release.

Spirit alternates between being A tier on the same level as Billy in good hands and a dominant force to utterly useless depending on the current patch and how sounds work. Saying that the chase music should go off when using haunting though, but right now footsteps are broken again.
Also on the ptb they lowered chase music for survivors not killers.

I think being dead and getting your limbs chopped off, as the Spirit had hers, qualifies you instantly as a disabled person. So OP is immersed, that's it.

I don't find any of this disrespectful. I get that there are disabled people and it's terrible to be disabled (and yes that is my politically incorrect opinion), but people seriously need to not be so sensitive.
