What is a Fog Whisperer?

The title. I've just never been clear on what that actually means. I just know that [INSERT NAME HERE] has Fog Whisperer displayed on their stream and it has been talked about on the forums.

Also, to follow up, are there FW across both PC and consoles or just PC?

    They're a group of special individuals hand picked by BHVR to be a sort of "spokes person" for their game. And in return they're rewarded with some codes, auric cells, skins, what have you.

    They're basically a voice of the community to tell things to BHVR, but they're not biased (At least some of them are not) and give their own opinions on subjects, BHVR doesn't tell them what to say or do, they have the right to criticize things and give opinions on them as well.
