Can we start banning people who DC in this game! It is really getting out of hand to the point it makes the game not fun anymore. 😓

Recently the devs have set the disconnect threshold back to "normal", it was more lenient because of crashes: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/63559/developer-update-may-2019#latest (scroll to "DISCONNECTION HANDLING - OUR PLAN, OUR ACTIONS")
If the devs actually cared about the disconnect issue they would have made it stricter. They did not, therefore, clearly they don't care.
For some reason they claim that dedicated servers will allow them to handle it better. Considering that there already is a system that is supposed to be able to handle disconnects, I find it very unlikely that dedicated servers will change anything

Thank you for the info, I was about to buy cosmetics for my killers and survivors but now hearing this from a player I will not be spending a penny on this game until something is done about the DC. It is making use look ######### with all the disconnects.
BTW not buying your DLC because you don't care about the player base. I hope someone makes a similar game that cares about the players so I can quit this DC feastival of a game.

Just a few more months until dedicated servers before we can actually see these players being banned... Ridiculous.
I wonder what the amount of players will be that are going to leave the game because of the Devs not handling DCs, I know for me I'm sick of it and it just keeps getting worse. It's so rare that I play a game and not have a DC.

Dedicated servers will make it better because they will be able to tell who is responsible for the dc. Right now the game can’t tell if it’s the killer or the survivor whose connection went out.

Come on!🙄 Most of the DC is so obvious that it is being done by the players. Why is there even a report on a player at the end of the game when someone DC and nothing is done about it? Take it out of the game since it isn't of any use!😣

There is a difference between losing connection to the server because you're internet is [Curse]. And people Ragequitting. It's a little obvious between the two, but sometimes... It's just... Not.

I've actually been seeing way more actual DCs recently then people using the Leave Game button. I've been in several matches over the past fews day where 2-3 people will just legitimately be disconnected from the match.
But combine this with people just ragequitting as well..... can't even play this game anymore.

goodness, i can't help but think....i've heard this somewhere before. perhaps it was here on a daily basis?
i only dc when i am chased off the hook though. oh wait, that's every game.

the DC is ruining the fun except for those who DC just to troll the other players. these people need to be dealt with and face consequences for their bad behavior.
Do something about it DEVS! or end up having a game full of toxic and DC players left co'z I know for sure me and my friends ain't taking this bull crap if it continues even with dedicated servers and it isn't fixed.
Not going to play a Broken game full of immature people.
