New Killer Concept: Poltergeist

Poltergiest Ability

Killer can become visible and invisible- while invisible if a suvivor is within 15-20 meter range, the killer can curse and syphon energy from the survivor. if the survivor stays put they become wounded (5s) base. add-ons can lower the timer.

The curse stays until the end of game. Like being shocked by doctor.

(possible tier levels of fright- Each tier adds different hallucinations)

Tier 1- Suvivors start hearing a heart beat as if the killer is appoaching their area, and it progresses louder just like if they are heading their way.Has a random chance to spawn sounds.

Tier 2- manifests images of killer and they move and walk to the survivor. Killer can see manifestations to help find survivors.

Killer can have addon-s to allow teleportation to manifests.


When the killer manifest to physical she can m1 attack.


Perks- illusionary Distraction - Start with 2-3 extra gens. These false gens look and act just like real gens. But it takes 20/25/30% repair to the gen and the gen will vanish. False gens spawn only where other gens can spawn on maps.


This is only a work in progress/ will update as i think of other ideas.

    How about if the poltergeist downs a survivor it can carry them into a building and drop them only to find they shoot up and crawl around on the ceiling for 30 seconds (in keeping with the films).

    Illusionary distraction sounds like a more useful version of Corrupt Intervention, as it will actually stall and not just spread out survivors or have them wait and do nothing.
