When we going to fix the way scratchmarks works?
Thats really ridiculous . Still not fixed.

Should be high priority. It's to misleading and they spawn to late. Combined with the current sound bug it's ridiculously difficult to follow survivor's movement.

I think they’re easy to track but sometimes they’re a bit weird.

I think There's a Bug with Iron will .. causing Scratch marks to disappear or go on and off ..

Had a game when i came back to shack and scratchmarks appeared when survivors was already far away . I think when you leave place as a killer then come back scratchmarks appear with some delay

Also when survivors take a corner tightly it looks like the scratch marks dissapear for a second. Makes it really hard to follow them because you can't even tell if they went left or right.

Is it possible that Survivors are using Poised, the perk from Jane Romero that procs and hides scratch marks after any generator is completed?
Or is it just totally random, no gen popping, and shorter than 12 seconds?

It happened to me on Ormond i know that map has issues with trails. But in general scratchmarks still appear with some delay and that needs to be adressed.
PS . No gens popping or anything else

An element that is not fair at all.
Urgent correction is necessary.
Footprints and sounds must be displayed correctly.

I think that in general the issue is ping. If players having higher ping scratchmarks will appear with a bit of a delay especially for killer who has no delay at all. So guessing dedicated servers will fix that issue.

It's deliberate. My PC is a bit on the glitchier side sometimes, and I'd see sometimes scratches spawn instantly for a frame, then they fade back in.

So this is the issue im having. When in middle of chase usually at the end ( whether it happens only at the end or no i dont know) when i lose sight of survivor i orientate by scratchmarks they leave and here s what happens:
I see no scratchmarks so i think that they stopped running and hiding somewhere here but then after 1 second those scratchmarks suddenly appear and when i reach the gates they already there? I guess it happens when they run too long or what?
