Totem Buff Idea

Many people say that totems need a better placement as a buff, but how about other ideas? Right now totems are not such a threat for survivors unless they're lit. I was so tired of survivor cleancing them in front of me and managed to break it right before I could reach them in time.

My idea is to make totems "cursed" and more risky to cleance. Every time survivors cleance the totems, the cleancer get an exposed status effect, 15 seconds for dull totems and 30 seconds for hex totems.

With this idea, survivors will now avoid cleancing totems and less likely to continue cleancing when you're getting close by.

Also, even if the totems are in the very bad place like right next to the generator, they will have to think twice before cleancing them.

What do you guys think? I know this would speed up the game since they won't wasting their time on totems, but I don't think it would really matter in high ranks anyway.

    Interesting idea but I don't think this'll be put in the game. It's like Ghostface to Myers, 15 seconds or 30 seconds exposed to Noed.

    I'll like to see totems get better positioning rather than trying to use band-aids to cover up their bad positioning. We can have more LoS blockers, or have totems spawn on the edge of the map because most survivors don't expect that!


    Also, a Hex Thrill of The Hunt buff would be nice!

    We also dont need a reason to dissuade people from cleansing dull totems. NOED popping at the end because your teammates couldnt be bothered doing ANY dull totems is already annoying, so throwing exposed on them as well is just going to further the problem.
