Hook/Downed survivor detection needs to go.
Why is this a thing?
No other killer has this, myers with Tier 3 can camp, insidious leatherface can camp, billy can camp. Everyone in the game can camp so why is ghostface, now an exception. this shouldn't be the case.
You can still unhook the survivor , it takes 4 seconds to stalk - it doesn't take this long to save.
Having hooked survivors/downed survivors really penalise the killer for wanting to try something, what if 3 survivors are running round the hook, you can't punish them with the expose effect because hooked survivors can stop you, what if you down one survivor, see another and want to stalk him but the downed survivor stops you.
This is a horrible idea and needs to go, then he'll be okay. I'm okay with the detection with the new changes. Just not hooked/downed survivors applying this effect aswell.

Did you see janick's post in "Ghostface" post, 25+ downvotes trying to defend it saying they don't want him to 99% people and down them, yet myers can do literally that, and apply it to all 4 survivors at once, their logic is stupid.

Between this glaring flaw and seeing first-hand the sheer power of running Object of Obsession against him, he's still utterly worthless. Heavily disappointed.

I'm disappointed, they listened but not to all of the issues, same happened with legion and plague, it's getting boring now.

That's not the problem, it's the fact hooked and survivors can cancel the power, clearly bait since camping is a strategy anyway.

He better doesn't even think about nerfing Myers, otherwise i will get a huge bunch of chop suey and leave huge turds on his desk, under his kitchen table and in his pillow sheets. Hell i will even do it if he thinks about not doing it.

If you can't stalk someone, then they shouldn't be able to reveal you. If you can stalk someone, then they should be able to reveal you.

Maybe they should just make it only in a 8-12 meter radius of the survivors.
That way they don't encourage camping but it also so it does screw over normal players

The idea is good to be honest.
But it's just not fitting DbD, a game where killers are the weaker role, so yeah, it has to go.

The other possibility is that they're having trouble coding a detection difference and know they won't get it done in time, so now it's "not a glitch and intended to prevent camping". The game is notorious for spaghetti code.

Seems to me like it would take a simple boolean value that states whether true or false if the Survivor is hooked.

The game has a state system. "Healthy, injured, dying, hooked, sacrificed, dead, disconnected." Just check the state and apply off that.

Kindred its fine but they need to fix its the other detection perks and 1 of the toxic 1s its OoO that perk dont need to work on all stealth example wraith cloak you cannot see him, pig crouch you cannot see her, ghostface in night shroud you cannot see him etc

Ghostface being revealed by hooked survivors is just ridiculous, why I should hide my power in certains areas and still being revealed?

Iv found an amzing basement build if u hook survivor on 2 hooks at back and peak at bottom of stairs u can pretty much camp ita pretty nice and funny when survivors walk down stares looking behind them the moment they get down stairs there exposed

They still have eyes so it does make sense that they can reveal you.
