Quick switching fix

Ok so you guys will all hate me and say NO IDIOT!!! BUT please hear me out, because this will 100% fix quick switching. Literally all you have to do is make it so you don't see the survivors items. The reason quick switching exists is so survivors don't have to worry about: Franklin's, Mori's, addons, etc. If you think about it the killer has the upper hand in the lobby. They can look at what the survivors are bringing and plan accordingly. Survivors CANNOT do this. We cannot look at you playing trapper and bring sabo to ruin your fun. We can't look at you playing 5 blink nurse or insta down huntress and dodge. Why should the killer be able to plan accordingly? Besides, a Killer who does this all the time is robbing themselves of a learning experience. How do you expect to win when you don't learn to play without the advantage you gain by looking at our items? Additionally when people do quick switch the killer often DC's mid loading and wastes everyones time. If we had no killers seeing our items, we would have no quick switching (Optionally we could also make the survivors just apear as silhouettes because of people who doge based on the people who like to stack 4 survivors just for a meme and then get dodged by sweaty gamers. But then people couldn't flex legacy or clothing on the killer lol.)

Also below is my "Experiment" its not necessary.

(This part is not ACTUALLY the fix this is an "experiment" of mine)For ONE week make it so survivors can see the killer and the killers addons they have so they can see how they like being doged based off of who they are playing and what they have. See how the killers like having to quick switch if they want to use their aids addons or play nurse.

TLDR: Just make items not appear lol.

Please don't reeeeee to hard and give me actual criticism(if you feel the need to criticize.)

All survivors bringing toolboxes is a perfect example of why it's good to see what they bring. If toolboxes are removed from the game then maybe.

You do realize that being able to see what the killer is absolutely breaks the game? What about Myers? Pig? Hag? Ghostface? You're immediately on high alert.

Seeing who the Killer is, is a big fat "NO". Survivors would dodge Lobbies, and only because Killers can do this Bullshit, Survivors should not have reasons to do it on their own.

Regarding seeing the Items: Honestly, I think it is ok, but Killers will say that they want to prepare (e.g. by bringing Franklins Demise), but in reality they will simply dodge. If Lobbydodging would not be possible then Survivors would be able to bring their Items without having to do this Nonsense like Last Second Switches.

In the end, Survivors should also be able to bring their Items they spent BPs on.

Personally, I never dodge. If there are 4 Survivors with Items, I will play it, even though it is more difficult. But when someone switches in the last Second, I will close the game in Loading Screen. If they carry a Flashlight, fine, if they are doing Bullshit like this, nope.

Quick switching is MUCH rarer lately, at least as far as I experience in the past months. It's really not that big of an issue.

And disabling killer's ability to see items would be a significant imbalance issue. Why? Look:

    Survivors can

    • discuss strategy, perks with their mates in lobby (many survivors don't do that, but it's their fault. The option is there.)
    • During game they usually have a much easier time to figure out and remember killer's perks and addons. (Killer has to detect and remember 4x4.)
    • Obviously, as soon as they spot the killer, they know what power they're facing.

On the other hand, even though the killer can see items, there's no way to tell if it's a green/purple item with strong addons, or just a humble brown medkit with Rubber Gloves or something like that. Since well organised survivors already have the upper hand, it would take away what little chance the killer even had to counter some of the OP items (most notably purple and pink keys, those can be obscenely strong).

Remember, the whole game was designed keeping in mind that killer can see your items. There's simply no reason to change that now.
