Random disconnects with different killers
Is anyone having today some weird killer DCs? Like he is chasing someone or going to hook someone and then you are randomly disconnected?

I keep getting disconnected as Killer mid game or in the loading screen when “searching for a match” I get a message saying “No Network Connection Detected” even though I remain online outside of the game

Yeah, same (as survivor), I don't see why these killers would be DCing, I guess the system is having some issues?
Mind you, I get a message saying that the host DCed.

This DC bug has been happening since when the Plague came out.
I've been in 5 matches in the last hour and the game booted 4 times, me while in running animation.
Puts me in the post match chat screen with the screen looking like the killer dc'd and the other survivors escaped. Which isn't the case at all.

@not_Queen @Peanits This is kind of ridiculous, considering there is an event going on.
This isn't someone intentionally hitting the "Leave Match" button. This is the game booting people while running/fixing gens/getting downed basically happening for no reason.
I ask that you guys please look into this, as many are reporting it as normal DCs. I've confirmed it isn't when I've played against/with people streaming the game.

I see. Today was the first time it started happening to me. I wasn't aware it had been around since Plague came out. Thank you for the heads up and for the tags on the community managers.

had it earlier 2 lobbies in a row where apparently first game one survivor didnt load in. and the other one apparently i escaped but showed a dc icon on the killer. no idea ######### was going on. still connected via ethernet so wasnt that. seems matchmakings abit wonky idk or stability

Another one. I was fixing a gen, vaulted through a window and this was the result.
(Mind you, 1 survivor was on a hook, the other 2 fixing gens)

It keeps acting as if the host DC'd, but they don't.
On their end, I dc'd and the dc has no sound whatsoever.
@dannyfrog87 Someone told me that it was due to internet connection, but that is impossible considering the people I've been playing with are in an entirely different side of the country.
It's just frustrating... I've already lost a ton of offerings because this dc does eat them, unlike the "match cancelled".

yeah its definitely not internet related for me. my connection is always stable plus the ping was green and yellow in the lobby so .... yeah it is a weird thing hope they can figure it out or maybe fix it at least or something ive no clue ....

Another "random" dc in the middle of a match...happened as I was running from a Plague.
Had a cake offering too that I lost.

Its happened to me countless times over the past year or so. I'll be mid chase about to attack a survivor and then suddenly the survivor is running into a wall. I down them, go to pick them up but the game won't let me and then suddenly I'm disconnected.

This happened to me yesterday (on PS4) I think. The match was almost over, and suddenly three survivors disconnected all at once. I received a message from one because I guess to them it looked like I (the killer) disconnected. It definitely wasn't me, though: there was still one survivor left, and I let them escape.

@Jplanas98 It seems like this dc bug became an issue right around when the Plague patch was released.

It's happened to me once or twice before the plague was released, but now that I think about it it has happened a lot more frequently ever since the plague was released.

@TragicSolitude It happens the exact same way when I play killer... all survivors dc on my screen but on theirs it shows that I dc'd. Then the post match chat shows that they all escaped. Lol
This issue is top priority IMO because the game is literally unplayable. They have an event right now where people are using offerings to get even extra points and take advantage and those offerings are lost. (Not the ones where the match gets cancelled but the ones where the dc happens mid match).
Also not to mention it cripples the team, and it's just not a fun time. Like I said I hope that they see this post and at least make a mention of what they plan to do because I know for a fact it's not just a hand full of people experiencing this dc bug issue.
