What headset would you recommend?

I've been playing with the same headset for a long time (a quite cheap and simple one to be honest), but I seem to miss some audio cues when playing and watching streams, and I would like to see whether it is worth to get a new headset to get better directional audio and hear better my surroundings. What would you recommend and/or suggest?

    I don't recommend a headset. Headsets are trash. Get a good pair of headphones and a mic.

    Sennheiser, Audiotechnica, Beyerdynamic, whatever. NEVER Beats by Dre.
