"We heard you all wanted Ghostface buffed, so we didn't do that."
"On top of that, we are making him easier to be detected by survivors. Stunning him with a pallet will also remove his power, because we know how well that was received with Plague and Legion.
"Have fun bullying our new AI!"

LOL I SAID HE'D BE NERFED!!
12 -
Plague had so many people excited because she had a good design and all and look what they did to her...
I feel so dumb because I had hopes in Ghostface but I guess the devs only do what they want, not what the comunnity wants. If 99% wants Ghostface buffs, they will ignore and be more focused in the 1% of survivors crying over unecessary nerfs
"Oh survivors are having a bad time with this killer, let's do the same with killers"
15 -
"We heard the flashlight blind was physically hurting killer players so we changed it."
"As a consistency change, we made killers physically hurt when they get stunned by a pallet."
"This change has been thought of when we discussed with our balance team about what is a stun, a very complex topic."
16 -
Same. I've already told all my friends to do the same. There's no point in buying a Killer who is guaranteed to be weaker in the near future and isn't guaranteed to be amazing currently.
7 -
"We have looked into Ghostface putting Survivors into exposed, it was not balanced, so instead now, keep the same stalk conditions but the Exposed status effect is replaced with Deep Wounds".
17 -
The changes really aren't a big deal though.
11 -
You must be a fan of Plague losing her Corrupt Purge when she gets stunned.
9 -
LOL When was this ever a thing? I've never had this happen to me.

Dude the set a deadline. June 18th is when the killer comes out. You really think they would push it back to have another PTB just to test what are actually super minor changes?
They tested one version, it was too weak. They tested another version, it was a TAD too strong. They know where he sits now, no further testing needed.
I swear, the way people are overreacting to this is almost comical.
3 -
Ghostface and Strong should never be in the same sentence lmfao
10 -
i guess they want make ghostface a Michael Myers's Bitc*
1 -
YOU may not mind, but the thousands of people that were expecting a new killer on the 18th would definitely be pissed.
Good luck at any job ever if you think you can just "push back" a deadline like it's nothing.
2 -
Well, they had to come up with an excuse to neuter Enduring whilst (although indirectly) buffing DS for the fourth time, so...

These devs are like the kid who keeps poking another kid, says "I'm not touching him!", then keeps putting their finger as close as possible, and as soon as their parents look away they poke them again. I think our feedback gets translated to Lithuanian, then Japanese, then back to English before being given to the devs, and that's where the mix ups come from.
11 -
I think you meant to say latin in that list as well.

1) Where did I insult you LOL
2) If you set a release date, you better release. If you don't there will be hell to pay.
3) You are overreacting if you think these MINOR changes constitute content that "isn't ready".
1 -
BHVR never commits to anything time wise, so if they needed more time they could have taken it. It was the leak that hurt them and forced them to fast track it.

- You were close to using an ad hominem against him when you told him 'good luck getting a job' because you were actively being snarky and bringing up something irrelevant to the conversation.
- Talk to every major game from a AAA game that gets delayed. Spyro Reignited is a good example: they had a release date setup, but they delayed it so that all three games would be on the disc instead of having to download the other two. Just recently the new Animal Crossing game got delayed to March of next year. Guess what? People are over all fine with it because they want a quality product instead of janky garbage. BHVR could stand to learn from this, and they could stand to learn from Fallout 76 and Anthem, which are broken games that were not well tested in their betas and had little to no changes made before release because the companies involved didn't care. Showing gamers you don't care about what they say is a good way to lose money.
- When Ghostface hit the PTB, his power was fundamentally unusable. Since you can customize perks, the Power of the Killer is the foundation of gameplay in that role. This means the very base of Ghostface was majorly flawed to the point of not working. They had to make some sort of change otherwise he was nothing but an "M1 Killer" in the truest of the sense of the term. So they did, and it was a massive improvement, but when you start off a rock bottom you can't go but up. He still wasn't viable and all the experienced players said he was better but still bad. Then they nerf him in ways that people asked AND didn't ask for and announce it on his release? Why not give him another month to test and work out his kinks?

Bhvr buffs and nerfs in a vacuum clearly
3 -
We're gonna get the shaft, my boys! Get ready for it.

It's not the "minor" changes, it's the fact that Ghostface sucks and yet he's still receiving any kind of nerfs. That's why he's obviously not ready to be released.
3 -
Also dont forget that more nerf in the next patch xd

And I was so excited to play as him... Waste of my hard earned cash. Hopefully he gets his nerfs reverted........

@ShrekIsHot Wait that's a buff. Deep Wounds injures you and so they would have to mend AND heal. With exposed they aren't making any sound and just have to avoid you for 45 seconds.
AND since you have no TR it would actually tick down immediately.
AND they would still be a 1 hit down because DW implies injured.
DW is a step between injuring a Survivor and an instadown.
Exposed is a step below injuring a survivor.
Or in otherwords Expose < Injured/broken < DW < Instadown
1 -
Oh my god. Deep wounds is actually better than something.
2 -
That's exactly what they did.

Legion here.
It will probaly take some time.
Imo, bhvr makes the mistake to listen to a small but very vocal minority for reasons unknown to me and then they just throw their nerfs out (reminds me almost on the Cyberpunk outrage of a minority of sjws, just that CD Projekt Red doesn't care - so refreshing :)). On payed content and no matter if the dlc will be review bombed down to nearly 90% negative postings and even if your killer of choice has one of the most popular tags here in those forums.
Hope is always a good thing, but... After they have make a mistake, they seem to need a good load time to accept that.

Some of you guys need to relax. I played a bunch of games against Ghostface today, and he’s pretty good! He can expose, which gives him a lot more power than many killers, and it’s really easy for him to get a first hit in due to his stealth capability. Plus, even though you can technically break him out of his power, pulling it off can be difficult and usually trying to do it ends up either you getting marked anyway. Not every killer needs to be the Nurse.

Play him at Rank 1 and tell us how good he is.

Devs don't understand the power role in the genre they are in...
