the plague - where are you?
I enjoy playing the plague; i admit i only play on green ranks mostly but seriously... where are all the plague killers? she's not bad and pretty fun. i wish i played more against them as well as a survivor.
Who else thinks she is underplayed by a large margin?

@Jimsalabim Because she sucks. Her power is easily looped and the other power is survivor sided only. They choose if they want her to have her stronger power. She's looped constantly in purple and red rank.

I'd play her but she's currently bugged where you crash as the match ends.

oh now that you mention it, i had one match as plague that crashed. all points lost :(

She's underplayed because she undersold. Think about it. Back in December, they released the most hated killer in the history of Dead by Daylight. Even most reputable killer mains with a brain hated Legion, because it was broken and had no viable counter-play.
The Legion sent DBD into one of it's darkest periods ever. Loads of people simply stopped playing; and to be honest, any killer that was going to follow the mess that was the Legion was doomed.

She really isn't fun though. She's basically a tickbox of "survivors are broken this match."
All her showy stuff, her puking, her corruption, it all becomes irrelevant 20 seconds into a match. If I'm playing killer it's not to press M1 and nothing else.

I still play her and love her, I'd definitely call her my main. Interestingly I'm holding my mid rank because it just tends to be harder to pip with her due to how she plays.

It's because she's bad and not fun.
She's not fun because she never gets to use her power past the first 20 seconds of the game as no one uses fountains. She just becomes an M1 killer with no power essentially. This also screws her blood point gains as well.
She's bad because being broken doesn't matter when there's enough pallets and windows to finish 5 gens long before you run out. Especially when no one is wasting time healing, it's just gen rush city. Large TR and huge size also make her one of the most loopable killers in the game. Being injured/broken all game isn't as dangerous as the devs think it is.
She needs serious help.

She's underpowered. Early pressure is the key to any match beyond rank 8. Plague is really bad at early pressure and gives survivors unlimited free heals if they want them. If you don't have Ruin, your first chase needs to end at the first loop. Plague has to sit there and hope she pukes accurately or catches someone way out of position. And that's the thing: she'll beat bad players. So can a lot of other killers, except their most fun aspects aren't locked behind a survivor giving it to them.

Wait is she seriously bugged?? Is that why I keep crashing? I lost sooo many bloodpoints. I personally like playing as her because I love her weapon and I like how she looks. She's a cool looking killer but I can see the problems with her powers.

she could use some small changes in her broken status that would make he a bit more viable on higher ranks. the thing is she could be OP in the lower ranks then.

The Survivors completely dictate her Damage Puke, and the broken status doesn't prevent loops, gens, vaults, pallets, ect from being done so she's an M1 killer who takes a little bit less time too down people. If someone Purges then their ######### but until then shes bad.

because she remains at bottom with Clown and Legion with least amount kill rates.
She is fun, but not good in higher ranks. Good teams will destroy her

Puking in a corner because her power can be shut down for the most part because survivors have more control over it than she does.
And in a game where the ongoing meta seems to be not healing, her power doesn't help her at all and just makes her a generic M1 kiler that's easy to deal with in loops because she's so tall that you can see her head over most obstacles.

i'm starting to think that it would be neat to give all killers the ability to crouch.

The dumpster, where she'll remain for a very, very, very long time. The developers seem to think she's fine, and it's becoming more and more apparent to me that killers are no longer really considered valued assets weeks after their release. Nut n' Go, BVHR edition. Pump 'em out, nerf 'em, and get to work on the next killer. Gotta keep that three month schedule going.

Vile Purge needs to be a real threat to survivors but knowing the devs, this thing will never happen because survivors just want to have funnnn

Also, while only her corrupt purge is kinda strong, she gives every survivor a LOUD warning when activating it. They just have to hide after hearing it. If she stops to get it during a chase, she will give the survivor enough time to reach a loop.

Buff: Fully infected survivors now have 30% reduced action speed. Percentage could be adjusted to a better point via testing.
Boom -> People would start cleansing against Plague. Most of problems would be solved.

I main Plague too! I hope she gets buffs, preferably her movement speed nerf reverted or making Survivors get infected faster.
