Why not disable "Wake Up" while it's bugged?

Like there's a lot of people still using it even with the ban warnings. I don't even know if the ban thing is confirmed or not. Would be nice to have it disabled while it's glitched. 🤷‍♂️

I heard something of bugged perks and addons, but what happens?

Rainbow Six Siege can disable and ban operators whenever they're bugged, but dead by daylight just straight up bans people, without disabling said bugged perk or add-ons

@MrsPiggyIsSoSneaky A lot of game companies will disable bugged items. Blizzard has done it, Hi-Rez has done it, SOE (aka Daybreak nowadays) has done it, and so forth.

Behavior not doing it leads me to suspect that the way they've coded their game and database might not have been the best method in hindsight. I remember when SOE assumed control over Matrix Online back around 2005 from the original developer as part of the deal with Warner Bros that gave them the DC Universe MMO license. There were issues with several bugged items in MxO, and SOE was unable to disable them due to how everything was hard-coded into the database by the original studio. Matter of fact, that hard-coding gave them no end of headaches, because fixing bugs often times bugged other sections. The SOE devs were quite vocal about that situation back then.

I believe the term is "spaghetti code." Where everything overlaps and affects other things.

They've completely dropped the ball with this bug. It's pretty ridiculous.

I don’t think they expected there game to last as long and change as much as it has over the years.

Indeed. That stems from the fact that the publisher put them on a limited budget with limited time, so they cut corners wherever they could.
