Hex totems
I assume this is the right place for this as hex perks are killer only perks. Where to begin? Well the first thing I ever noticed about hex totems is that they're useless when broken. And they're often broken early in a match due to inappropriate placement of said totems. For example a generator location is a bad spot for a totem. Out in the open is a bad place for a totem. But even if they're not in open locations it doesn't mean they won't be found immediately. As a survivor I've spawned in game near a totem many times. So it's not just totem placement but also survivor spawn location. Needless to say these perks are short lived.
So we know totem spawns are poor and survivors can spawn right next to them. But what might the devs do about this issue? Maybe it's not just about fixing spawn locations. Perhaps there are alternative solutions? Like always spawning the killer near their totems and keeping all totems in closeness proximity to each other. Or perhaps a small grace period of say three minutes that hex totems are immune to being destroyed. We do have thrill of the hunt but it's useless if you spawn across the map from your totems while survivors spawn right near them. I would say this is a very unfortunate issue for killers.
So I've made my case in this argument and I don't really have much else to say. I only ask that devs consider this issue and in the end only expect they will come up with their own idea of what do if they do anything at all. And with that I rest my case.

I like the idea of a grace period maybe keep the totem hidden for a few minutes then have it revealed.
