SECOND OBJECTIVE

So you guys know deathgarden?

Its assimetrical game like dbd but with parkour and guns.

The way scavengers [survivors of deathgarden] can escape is by delivering blood at bloodposts.

Kinda like survivors have to repair generators.

BUT!!

Scanvengers first have to colllect that blood.

So imagine : what if survivors first would have to collect parts in order to repair gens.

Parts could be collected from little boxes [or something like that] in form of charges.

There would be maybe about 20 boxes on map. Theoreticaly about 14 boxes would be requered as minimum.

Collecting parts would take about 0-30 seconds depending how many parts you take.

Maximum amount of parts survivor could carry at once would be 30.

Survivors would have another bar, indicating how many charges they have, and maybe little bags [kinda like in deathgarden they have little jars or whatshouldicallem] on them for sake of appeal.

Toolboxes would increase speed at which you install parts into gen [which they pretty much do now], maybe they would increase how many charges survivor could carry.

Also i think brand new part could get change, either small rework or keep it but change its rarity to purple.

i was also thinking that franklins demise should affect charges. Maybe like this 0\-5\-10 charges on hit.

Thoughts?

This would work for lower-tier killers. However, this would make higher tier killers extremely overpowered. They need to make all killers roughly in the power range of Huntress before you can balance out the survivor objective. Right now due to the extremely wide power spread it would be impossible to implement a mechanic that didn't heavily make certain killers impossible to play against.

and yet, they are doing exactly that.

secondary objectives are about to come to this game, weather you like it or not.

they already tested out possibilities for secondary objectives and how they affect the game. the Hallowed Blight Event itself was a test run for such possible secondary objectives, and so was the Luna New Year Event.

what exactly its going to be is unknown, but it sure enough will stall the game out.

So maybe, in addition to the second objective, they could buff stealth/chases instead of making all the killers mid-tier. it sounds easier on paper, and it makes survivor gameplay even more interesting.

Thats exactly, why hunters in deathgarden are still so overpowered. deathgarden has a much worse balance than DbD and you want to bring that into DbD? No thanks. If you want it easy as killer play deathgarden or use your A-tier crutch killer in DbD.

Here's some crazy ideas for a second objective.

The gens are all "caged" in some way and prevent you from accessing them. You then need to locate 1 of 7 "keys" scattered about the map. Use the "key" to unlock the "cage", and then work on the gen as normal.

    -----------------------------------

Or you could go with the fast and loose approach and throw out the concept of gens, and place 10 boxes/obelisks which you need to search/pray at to gather parts/talismans to fix/break the exit doors so you can leave.

(The first idea adds a second layer to the current style, where the second idea changes the original objective from a charge 5 stationary objects to power the exit. To the objective of locating objects at 5 stationary charge stations and then bring to exit gate to leave.)
