New ideal perk to slow down the game a bit.

Okay I was thinking how to slow down the game and I thought of this perk (or offering) for killers that may help. And sorry if anyone suggest the idea or something similar, don’t mean to steal.
So it a type of totem perk that act like a key with generator, a survivor can do a gen and get it to 99%, but in order to complete it, they need to remove a totem, one totem for a gen, if they failed to get rid of a totem then the entity will block that gen after they try to push it pass 90% for an unknown time( 20/s 30/s 60/s whatever feel right), or until they complete another gen and remove the totem.
This perk won’t turn the dull totem into hex totem or anything so other hex totem should still work, though I feel it might weaken other hex totem because now the survivor will have to remove all of them. Then again I pretty sure the haunting ground will at be happy.
If this feel too weak then maybe we can add a couple more second so to remove the totems, and or we can set up a notification each time any totem are being remove.
If it too strong then maybe the survivor won’t lose progression for the totems, but let make it so that only the survivor who was doing the totem keep the progress. Like if one survivor did was half way done but left he can come back and continue where he left off, any other survivor will have to start where they left off.
So what do you guys think, I not a top tier player so i not certain if this will have any meaningful impact on the game or if it a bit too much.

Too weak I mean I see where your going but
1- you should reduce the gen cap to 50%
2-the killer should be alerted once a gen is capped
3- If not a hex make a timer like 80/100/120 seconds
4- If hex killers could camp the totem and prevent any gens from being done
so make it none hex and add a timer and a visible notification for the killer when a gens capped.

i don’t think it’s a fun idea... I mean, totems can be hard to find, cleansing them takes no skill, and the killer can camp them if needed. Forcing people to cleanse them is a bad idea. Also, it seems like a really weak perk. Decent survivors can cleanse all the totems in the first minute of he match if they want, and then it’s just a normal game...
I think totems are fine as optional second objective. The game needs a non-gen related(or partly related) obligatory objective, not a gen blocker. But the gen cap is nice, it could work with collecting parts to be able to work on a gen (not mine idea, it’s the most popular potential second objective on the forums right now)
