Your fervent care of the Hooks found in the Basement
has aroused the Entity's interest.
The Basement Hooks are granted the following bonuses:
- 20/30/40 % faster Entity progression. (96/84/72 seconds)
- 3/6/9 % increased difficulty on escape attempts.
- 10/20/25 % increased penalty to escape fails.

While it seems powerful, do remember that getting a hook in the basement is very situational, even with perks to help you carry them to the basement.

Agreed. This perk makes almost no different at all currently, and it's been the same garbage ever since the game came out. They should fix it already

I would rather this perk be reworked to do something else tbh.
This would make basement builds really, really boring to face. Like basement's strong by default (especially on certain killers), I don't think it should be buffed much at all by perks.

Basement camping builds don't need buffing; they need destroying - hooking in the basement should be some free pressure to buy you time, not a free kill.
And honestly? Hooking in the basement isn't that situational; a killer will usually finding themself hooking at least 1-2 people in the basement over the course of a single game, unless they get genrushed as a result of trouble exerting pressure on the survivors.

A rework would be nice,
Such as hooked survivor loses item or rescuer becomes exhausted idk just throwing ideas out there.

Honestly, the 'Harder to wriggle off' is garbage; it's NEVER a good enough chance to wriggle free to risk it unless you have no choice.
I think it should slow down the Survivors Rescue Action when freeing people from the Basement hooks.
Or apply Mangled or Broken or Hemorrage when someone is freed from a Basement hook.

Monstrous Shrine (uncommon/rare/very rare)
Your desired form of sacrificing has offered The Entity to switch basement locations.
Each time a survivor is downed within a 32/36/40 meter range of the Killer Shack or Main Building, the basement will switch locations and spawn within one of those areas.
Basement locations will not change indoors.
Survivors in the basement when the basement switches will immediately switch locations as well.
Grants an extra 20% faster Entity progression rate on basement hooks.
This is so that the basement can spawn wherever you like it to spawn if it's within range.

Something that maybe buffs the Killer whenever he gets a basement hook would be cool. Make it coin based.
Like a reduction to TR or something for every basement hook. Could make it interesting.
