PS4 Obsession bug

I was in a match a couple days ago, and was the obsession, which was strange, because I didn't have any obsession perks/addons, and neither did the killer. So this is a bug.

    Did the Killer happen to be The Shape or The Nightmare? Both of these Killers have add-ons that can select an Obsession.

    Besides that, I don’t know what else could have made you Obsession if there were no Obsession perks on either side.

    Nope, and I checked addons and everything. I was running Balanced landing, self care, spine chill, and urban. I forget who the killer was now, but they had BBQ, and some other perks, but none of the perks or addons were obsession. Even though I recognized them at the time, I hovered over each to make sure.

    Someone in your team had decisive strike which assigns the obsession to a random person

    DS makes obsession random? Instead of being the obsession now?

    Yes and you get the obsession back once you DS the killer.

    It's not fully random, if someone is running MoM or OoO or SS they are more likely to be the chosen obsession.

    In your case probably no one was running those perks hence you got selected
