TOTEMS AND TOTEM PERKS

Hi, (I Feel like i'm talkin to mysefl!) i'm here with another discussion to talk about totems and how, in my opninion, could be fixed or changed, but let's talk about totems now:

Totems at the moment are a way to slow the game or to achieve something that otherwise wouldn't be possible to achieve with some killers, but the "fun" ends when the totem is broken. The good thing is that is balanced sometimes, the bad thing is that is not the reality of things! Too many times survivors find totems way too quick or there are just some perks helping them with this thing.

I'm not questioning this ofc, cause this is what survivors are meant to do, i'm questioning the fact that the "Hex" totem in question is from that moment "Gone Forever" And you are forced to play the rest of the game without a perk as killer.

My point in this discussion is: What if totems comes back as the hooks does? What if there were more totems? What if the killer could actually take them back somehow with perks or personal abilities? (see future killers maybe?) The question is: Why dont we take some more care about this totems in general?

As always, thanks to whoever will reply to this and i hope to have some comparison!

I have made a suggestion to do a small rework on hex totems, it would involve things like this

The hex totems do not empower a dull totem until their perk comes into effect, here is an example with Devour Hope the totem itself will not be cleansable until it gets to 2 tokens because that is when the perk starts having an effect, for also hex ruin will not light up a totem till someone gets a skill check on a generator. also another one is that once a hex totem is cleansed make the hex that was removed respawn in X amount of time say 30 seconds, but if it is a token perk like Devour hope it will take away 1 token inorder to become active again and power up a new totem, now numbers and specific interactions would of course be changed and such say for a hex to respawn with tokens only takes 30 seconds while something like hex ruin would take 1min or something would of course need to be tested, this would encourage the survivors to cleanse all totems, be a indirect nerf to NOED but be a borderline buff overall to all hex perks, along with improving totem spawning locations and it would help the game alot

I'd want a secret offering, (or maybe three tiers of it, like with Oaks): "Calls on the Entity to create 1/2/3 more dull totems. A larger number of secret offerings would be better by itself (those losers who DC upon seeing one because it may be a mori could assume there's less of a chance that it is). But mostly, it would help a lot with NOED and ToTH, both being relatively weak perks right now.

Combine this with the suggested change above (light totems up only when they start having an effect), and it would be a much needed improvement.
