I think Autodidact needs an increase in skill checks as you gain tokens. It's already hard enough to get to 5 tokens because of the randomness of skill checks. It would be fair if the player is rewarded for all of that healing and earning tokens. There are rare times where a player gets to five tokens but still isn't able to use the benefits of the perk because it doesn't proc a skill check. By the time you get to 5 tokens the game will be over or you will be dead.

    Increasing the chance to trigger skill-checks when healing with Auto-Didact is a perfectly reasonable suggestion.

    I've to say, a lot of time when i run autodidact i manage to pull off a whole heal without a single skill check! 😂

    So annoying!
