Lag switching

So I just played a game as killer and got accused of being a lag switcher. I play with a wireless connection, and there are multiple people using the internet at once in my house, so at times myself, or the survivors I’m hosting experience lag. This happened against a surv in this game, and as a result of the lag he got downed. Completely unintentional. After the game he accused me of being a lag switcher. Could I actually get banned for this misunderstanding?

    Only if this happens a lot so make sure to check your internet and make sure it is okay in your games otherwise you won't get banned if you aren't actually lag switching.
