The Doctor is a better Legion than The Legion

Let's compare

Tracking:

Legion can track the location of all survivors within terror radius after the first Feral Frenzy attack. But loses the ability to see scratches/blood/red fill.

The Doctor can induce tracking via exposure to his Terror Radius for each stage of madness, and after Tier II can have a Doctor illusion appearing and revealing the location of each survivor even outside of Terror Radius.

Compare: While Legion can find people within his terror radius for a short period of time, Legion can use this ability over and over with strong drawbacks such as 4 sec fatigues, miss penalty, power refill time, basic attack gauge depletion and visual impairment including no tracking ability outside of killer instinct. The doctor has no drawbacks and only becomes more powerful as the survivors are within his terror radius, making him excellent at tracking multiple people at once. This includes being able to generate fake pallets in chases, cross map tracking and location revealing tiers.

Slowing the game down just a lil bit:

Legion can injure multiple people quickly, forcing them to spend a short time mending with no skill checks or real imminent danger.

The Doctor can cause people to go into madness tier III, forcing them to not be able to use their items, constantly revealing their location and forcing them into a stand still skill check requirement to get out of their madness Tier III.

Compare: While the Legion can stab put multiple people in Deep Wounds it is very easy to get out of and mitigate the danger of this effect. At best it is a small short inconvenience added to a basic attack. Deep Wounds take intense accuracy to pull off not being able to track scratches/blood/red fill because any miss completely drains the gauge as well as gives Legion a 4 second fatigue. This effect can also be removed faster by another player healing them. Survivors do not lose mend rate if mend is interrupted. The Doctor not only renders items unavailable but the skill checks jump around the screen with a tiny area to hit them. The survivor is forced to stand still, hit every erratic tiny skill check and if they don't their location will be revealed. Not mending causes the survivor to enter dying state but this is so rare that it is not even worth comparing to the penalty for failing Tier III madness skill checks that not only reveal your location but force you to restart the skill check from the very beginning whilst being unable to heal or perform actions. Tier III cannot be removed by another player and perks affect the skill check size.

Loopability:

The Legion is entirely loopable against an injured survivor or one with the deep wound affliction.

The doctor can stun people, preventing them from using windows or pallets.

Compare: While the Legion can leap over pallets in Frenzy, it is only affective against full health survivors. Not only that, the Legion is punished severely for using their ability against one with no benefits. The Doctor can entirely prevent a survivor from using windows, pallets and even items. The Doctor is leaps and bounds better at this than The Legion.

Map Pressure:

The Legion can travel very far at a very slow rate of 5m/s in Frenzy. This allows Legion to travel from gen to gen.

The Doctor has not traveling advantages but instead gains his pressure from his terror radius. Using his terror radius, he can reveal survivors on his way from gen to gen.

Compare: While the Legion can travel far, it is at a very slow rate. If you manage to find somebody after a long traverse across the map, chances are you will run out of your gauge before you hit any survivor giving them a 4 second head start as well as exhaustion perks. You then are a basic M1 killer until your ability comes back, by then the survivors have scattered far away. The only way to capitalize on Legion's power is to not use it until you find one or more survivors to which if you are skilled enough to hit one or more then they only have a short inconvenience until they can get back on gens. They can even remain on gens if they are within your terror radius without worry because while they are afflicted, they are basically invisible to any tracking by The Legion. The doctor can use his terror radius to reveal, scatter, interrupt and inflict numerous afflictions to survivors by just being in his Terror Radius. Each person afflicted has to deal with their own tier of afflictions causing players to focus on something other than the generators.

Endgame:

The Legion has no endgame. Period. Using Feral Frenzy in endgame is basically asking to let all the remaining survivors escape.

The doctor can rely on his built up madness to really put pressure on survivors, interrupt unhooking from range, as well as unhook survivors in his therapy stance.

Compare: Doctor wins end game.

FINAL SUMMARY!

They claim Legion is a fast, game stalling, pallet leaping tracking beast; but that is all wrong in comparison to The Doctor. The doctor does each and every one of the things that Legion is supposed to be good at BUT much better and with no drawbacks or penalties. The worst "drawback" on doctor is the time it takes to switch stances which is short enough already so that he can make windows, pallets and items obsolete.

The Doctor does everything Legion does but far better.

I think those people simply can't see it.

They look on it from a different angle.

Those people like m1 killers in general and are happy that the Legion has now a slower gameplay.

The opposit are we pre patch loving Legion's.

We look at the Legion also from a different angle.

We love a fast gameplay. We love the idea of a fast stabbing killer and a gang of young adults just serves this idea too perfect.

And we are alone bored by the thought to have another m1 killer in our collection.

Both sides are valid, but I think we have more the right to complain, because we can't move to another killer like the m1 lovers could do it, if they want it, since the Legion was unique.

The pre patch Legion is without alternative, so she is worth fighting for. She was not like the m1 killer she is today, where it doesn't matter if she got nerfed or not, because you can simply move then to another m1 killer.

Any killer besides Freddy is a better Legion because legion isn’t basically the worst killer in the game and he will be once Freddy gets his rework.

Well... As long freddy gets a real rework and not a rework like the Legion got it :). But I am be honest - I have not followed the news around the next freddy rework, so I don't know.

Stop being delusional. The Doctor is probably only better than Bubba and Freddy atm.

The Legion downplaying is getting ridiculous. Trapper, Doctor, Pig, Bubba, AT LEAST these need more help than Legion atm.
