Give every dc'er a cosmetic they can't take off until a few games are up
Upon dcing for a certain amount of games Give them a white paper hat with the letters "DC" on it that the player can't see but everone else can. It would be the default head of whatever charecter their playing and would go away after about 10 games of not dcing.
This would be similar to gtas system actually where they give bad players a dunce cap. Only difference is GTA splits there player base so only naughty players can play together, whereas that would be too big a split for dbd

The premise behind this is that if they player wants to act like an idiot they may as well look like one!

Sounds fun, but I'd modify it to 'certain amount of games within a period of time. Say, three or so over a 24 hour period.

I'd be more amused if the entity punished them by randomizing their perks, items, addons, and offerings for a certain amount of games per disconnect.

Simple solution, cosmetic just shows up in game. Your already in the game with them and thus unless you want to be like them you may as well stick it out with the dunce over there
God seeing killers/survivors with that on would make me laugh so hard
A part of the problem I suppose but then again you'd just see it when other people have dc'ed. You wouldn't ever actually see the cosmetic. It would be the game essentially poking fun at you to everyone else

Someone once suggested a dunce cap forced on them for the next few games. Would be hilarious.
