What if DBD had +10 extremely rare new surv items?
Only found in chests during trial, new category: extremely rare in black color
- 1-use-stun to fight back killers or survs: baseball bat, taser, broken shotgun, hammer, hatchet...
- negative companion: voodoo doll, anabelle doll, chucky doll, exploding chest...
- 1-hit-protection: football helmet, firefighter helmet, forge helmet, pikachu hat...
- positive effect: antisleeping pills, drugs, WW2 camo suit, water purifier, night vision zoom goggles...
- random effect (random 50% heal/vomiting effect): expired painkillers, mistery can, dirty pizza slice...
Would it make you play more and would you like that?

So how would each item function in a balanced way? That decreased the chances of getting items we have already, and people will stay away from chests if they can give negative effects now.

There's already plenty of tools to use as survivors, Adding more especially a free protection hit would screw up the balance of the game even more.

"1 use stuns" sounds like all those ppl who REALLY wanna use their DS, but the killer refuses to tunnel them, lol. "HOW DARE YOU NOT PICK ME UP!!!"

This would break the balance a lot. Survivors being able to use a one-hit automatic stun whenever they please or being able to take a protection hit with no effort can drastically change the match outcome for a killer. On top of that, people would just start running plunderer's instinct so they could increase the chance of getting these items and horde them up. Then SWF could bring them in all at once and cause the killer to have a super non-fun game. It would be to gamebreaking for balance and could also potentially ruin some of the skill required to play survivor.
